Great information centre with lovely staff. Unfortunately, I lost all of my purchases as they fell out of my backpack on the way back to my car. However, I should have expected it, as you cannot take material possessions with you when you make the final exit.

Tremendous, knowledgeable team who are always happy to help answer all manner of questions. There are lots of books and leaflets, and a brilliant range of gifts, including from local artists. Many tours can be booked here too, highlights including The Edwardian Lady tour and Dark Chester tour. Highly recommended for all you need to do in, and know about the beautiful city of Chester.

Chester is fantastic BUT stay clear of this bar..PROVIDENCE GINS...the barman was surly, unhelpful and very unprofessional. Ordered drinks at 10.20pm approx, spend 36+£ ... TOLD!!! to leave at 10.40! Found out he was inviting his m8s in for a 'lock in' ...refused to give name etc of his manager. STAY CLEAR PEOPLE...spend your money elsewhere.

Great friendly and enthusiastic stuff. We did a guided walking tour and were the only ones on the tour. Our guide, Menai was incredible and Mum and I both felt we learnt a lot during just 1.5 hours and it was also engaging and well organised. She was very approachable and answered all our questions with patience and had the answer to everything. Menai is wonderful and I would love to do a tour with Menai again when I return to Chester.

The review is of the The Tudor & Stuart Tour of ChesterI had an incredible opportunity of having Ms Miles Mason all for myself and my friend. We basically had a private tour of Chesters history. It was incredibly entertaining, and really interesting. I absolutely enjoyed the vast knowledge of everyday, and maybe less important historic knowledge our guide had along with more important parts of the areas history. He answered any question I threw at him. The whole tour was really interesting, funny and overall something I can recommend to anyone even slightly interested in the history of the area.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, who gave lots of helpful advice and information for my visit to Chester. The best place to start when you visit the city. You can get tickets for attractions, at a discounted price and also some lovely Chester gifts.
