Tony Smith Kitchens

To say this company are kitchen fitters would be to suggest that they do something more than strap carasses to the wall and stick their hand out. They don't.The eponymous Mr. Smith in particular is rude and incompetent. He measured up the kitchen personally. But as it turned all he did was check his carcasses would fit. He do not allow for first fix electrical outlets or plumbing which was already installed when he visited.His fitters then 'lost' this pipe work behind a sealed unit which had to be recovered. Work arounds had to be found for the wiring. I offered to pay him to plumb the kitchen sink, as I believe people supplying a kitchen should leave a kitchen that works not just a set of units. But he insisted he was only interested in a 'dry fix'. So a third party plumber had to be used.It was simply good fortune that there was someone in when the granite surface arrived as no one had bothered to arrange a date with us.We had to wait weeks for the final pieces of the kitchen to be delivered, and even then my wife had to point out to the fitters that they had still not installed all the handles.After the final flooring was fitted the plinth did not fit at one end. Investigation revealed that this was because one corner of the kitchen was 2mm lower than the other. On the basis that life is too short I got my chippy to adjust the plinth.There are plenty of other people who really supply working kitchens. Best use one of them.

They are ok until there's a problem. Our kitchen doors, end panels and drawers started delaminating. No help whatsoever, long story short, ended up paying another kitchen fitter to re-glue all the edges.Would not recommend.

We looked at Tony Smith, a major DIY chain, and one of the big national firms, when we wanted a new kitchen.Our decision wasn't just about the lowest price - we wanted to feel happy with the firm that was doing the job, and reassured as to their quality of work.Tony's firm was the best on both counts - price and quality. Very pleased with the result.

Absolutely fabulous! The staff are so friendly, especially Nicky, David and John. Our bathroom turned out amazing, thanks to Gary, Adam, and other fitters. I totally recommend Tony Smith Kitchens to everyone whos reading this. 10/10!! :D

I can't fault this kitchen company, very helpful, & very clean workers, my kitchen looks & works very well for me.
