Bourton Road Butchers

It’s that good we travel from Witney to buy meat, have a baguette, all sorts of extras not normally found in a butcher’s and all the staff are so friendly and good for a chat.

Just had T bone steak from Barry’s. OMG it was so tender that I considered not cooking mine. Absolutely amazing, best T bone I have ever had. Great friendly service and amazing meat.

13th Oct 2022 update: The range of hot food has expanded. The range of meat remains excellent, as does the range of frozen fish and other foods.22nd April 2021 update: Now doing prepared hot food using their own products.An increasing range of fruit and veg too.It's more like visiting a farm shop.26th Nov, 2020: This shop has moved to new premises at 16 Black Bourton Road, opposite Asda, next to Beehive pub.Same excellent service.Really well appointed new facilities and even wider range of productsThis is a real butchers shop which is run by Nicola and Ryan who are both passionate about the products that they have on sale.They are so helpful friendly. It is a real pleasure to visit this shop. I have learned a lot about how to choose various decent cuts of meat.It is well worth supporting this independent shop. What's more they are happy to deliver orders too.Tried and tested:Turkey crown, tied and stuffed plus bacon: best ever!Fillet steak,Beef joints,Leg of lamb, boned & tied on request.Sausages, especially their own recipe 'Bourton Road Bangers'Pickled onions.All have been superb.

Was advised to try their full breakfast French stick so did so . Filled to the max with fillings so much so won’t need to eat for the rest of the day . Well worth the money ,really tasty, Perfect .

First visit as on holiday and staying round the corner. Lovely meat steak, bacon and sausages. Friendly staff and would definitely recommend

My partner and i have used Barrys Butchers for years until we moved further away. I'm making a trip back just to stock up! The lean mince is just awesome, they kindly bag it into two people" portions as well. There are lots of choices of seasoned meats like Chinese ribs

always a good selection of meat and various flavours of sausages also a nice selection of prepacked meats, chicken and ribs with various flavourings in the fridge at 3 packs for £12. they have a small freezer with fish products in.also a deli counter which they do fresh rolls with a multitude of fillings etc. great place to get your meat for the week or bbq.

I won best wife award today for bringing my husband an all day breakfast baguette. And it would have been rude not to treat myself to one! They were amazing, will definitely be getting them again!
