Revolution Liverpool - Albert Dock
Visited with my wife and children today. I walked in and waited by the entrance to be seated. A female staff member arrived after a few minutes and asked if we needed any help? My wife asked for a table for our family and was told firmly that their are only tables free outside. My wife then asked for a table inside as our children did not want to sit outside. The staff member then advised there was only a high table available next to the bar and entrance. My wife then approached another member of staff who said we could sit on a lower table and that she would clean it first. The staff member literally used a dry cloth and gave the large table 3 or 4 strokes to clean it. As we sat on the table, we noticed that the table was still filthy with food etc. When ordering food, I politely asked the staff member to clean the table again as it was still dirty. The staff member looked annoyed that I had asked her to clean the table again ,and to my utter disbelief, the staff member again used a dry cloth to clean the table with a few strokes and then stormed off. My family felt really uncomfortable and felt that we were a burden on the staff member and unwanted in the restaurant. At this point my family decided not to eat in the restaurant and I asked the staff member to cancel my order. The staff member just said ok, without asking why or attempting to keep our custom. My family had a really amazing experience in another restaurant close by, where the staff were so welcoming and made my family feel happy and we were happy to give them £200 for our meal which Revolution could have had if they cared about their customers. A message for the management of Revolution, you will not have many customer left if you treat them like we were treated, but you probably do not care!

The bar has gone down hill. Several visits made over 2 years and it’s been Okay. Yesterday we visited as a family of four. Service was appalling 55 minutes waited to get drinks on the table. And they arrived after the food. It was NOT too busy about 20 percent table occupancy. We had to ask and ask again for everything. It’s always a bad sign when you apologetically ask for something in a restaurant where you are a paying guest. “I’m sorry but could I order a pint please”. Manager was pretty useless when challenged on poor service. Date of visit 04 OCT 2023. Time about 1600. Sorry won’t be going back.

Naomi is a great asset to the business... friendly and helpful... her exceptional service made the day even more fun and entertaining... food was nice, a little sparse but filled the spot... bottomless brunch was perfect to catch up with friends...

Wide range of vegetarian options here. I have chosen a buffalo chicken burger and switched to a vegetarian one. Tasty and lovely. Nice service.

Food was lovely, a few small issues with things missing from meals but nothing major and corrected when pointed out. Cocktails were lovely and good value. Wait staff were lovely and friendly.

Good venue with a good atmosphere. Tasty food and drink and a good selection on the 2 for 1 cocktails. Service was great to begin with but if your not going for bottomless brunch then try to visit outside the times that they offer it because it became quite hard to get a servers attention. We were planning on staying for another hour but that’s what led us to leave and go to another bar. Other than that I would return, the Mean Girl cocktail was unreal!

App not user friendly and have to register to order on it. Nobody came to take our order (we were told that someone would come to take the order) in the half hour it took us to work out how to use the app, register and place the order. Once we had ordered on the app though the food was quite quick to come.Food was good but small portions.
