On behalf of family and friends attending Beverlys wake. I have to say your attitude was appalling. Oh my where were your thoughts? A truly difficult day for everyone. Didn't feel that at all from you? Have you no compassion? As for slamming down the bar earlier than expected than the family expected and being downright rude about it ?So wrong. You upset everbody whom was privileged to be a part of Beverlys send off.Would the members not have understood that this was a wake and yes lots of people were there reminiscing and to give the family and friends some time to reflect talk and remember ?You have no idea clearly how much you upset everybody present.Still you live with that .

Well I don't even know where to begin to explain how appalled I am with this venue and the miserable unaccommodating staff it had to offer. After some negotiation between the family on deciding where to hold my late mother in laws wake it was finally decided that it was going to be held in this shambles of a venue. One of the reasons being that we was allowed to have the venue until 11pm which was agreed prior to the occasion and also put in writing and signed. When arriving at the venue it was apparent that the 2 members of staff that were behind the bar were finding it difficult dealing with the amount of people who were wanting drinks which I found very odd as they were told there would be 200 guests which they clearly wasn't staffed for. Trying to keep it positive nothing was mentioned about these issues as we all know in such sensitive situations like this we just want to keep everything running smoothly as any upset could ruin the day and these are the days we want to be perfect and can never change or get back. To top it off at 8pm the guests were told they had to leave the venue which was booked until 11pm. The shutters of the bar were pulled down on all the guests and they were told no more drinks would be served to them. The bar staff were so rude treating my family and guests like absolute animals, at a time when they needed compassion and a shoulder to cry on they were set upon and humiliated. They will never be how to get this day back for there mother and I'm sad they decided to use your venue on such a day as it was completely ruined by your miserable under staffed accommodation!! I hope you are happy with your disgusting behaviour as Its been very hard dealing with the upset of the family as there wife and mothers funeral was ruined! The one star is not applicable to this disgusting establishment but there is no option to leave anything less!

Played darts there, it's one of the venues in our league. Small bar, drinks not cheap, off the beaten track, background music pleasant but too loud, not able to hear the score to record. Still we won.

The venue was a great setting for our family wake. The bar staff were very friendly and worked hard serving drinks and arranging the food. The amenities were very clean and well stocked. Thank you.

Nice club but miserable barman. He just did not want to engage in conversation. Never smiled once!. Other than that, a nice little club.

I wouldn’t even rate it a one star but it doesn’t give me an option to write anything unless I press a star!!!!!! Disgusting service all round! My close family friend held her mums funeral wake here and the way herself, her siblings and her father were treated on such a day is beyond disgraceful! Rude bar staff! Under staffed even tho extra staff were paid for and the venue were informed there would 200 people expected! Venue was booked until 11pm (they have signed paperwork that says so) but they THREW us out at 8pm, lying saying it wasn’t booked until 11, leaving my friend and her family in the car park with the remaining guests on the day of her mums funeral!!!!! One of the bar maids screamed at my grieving friend who was in an extremely upset state that she didn’t care and to get out!!!! I am utterly dismayed at the disgraceful behaviour of this place at such a sad and sensitive occasion!!!
