Very good offroad centre some very sticky bits and good steep hills to climb. powerwash and carpark lest it down a bit especially the steep hill on the approach. one time I came in my van and nearly smashed the sump to pieces (we come with Quads)

Frickley 4x4 Offroad Centre
This off-road centre is great for upgraded 4x4's. when we went it was poorly maintained but wasn't the thing that let here down, the lack of customer service was so why have I rated it so highly? because it was fun and thats what we went for. This is not a place to learn off road skills but it is a place to take a old 4x4 that won't make it home so get a trailer and fetch a banger of a 4x4 and go have fun.

When Charlie Warde aldam got his land back off Coal board,they landscaped it,thousands of trees, meadows etc,it was getting better year in year out,full of wildlife.Then he had the great idea to turnit into a 4x4track,roll on a few years andit looks like the Ardennes forest after Hitlerhad been through,trees flattened anda quagmire!!

Great 4x4 pay & play venue, I'd say it's probably better during the summer months, unless you like nothing but thick gloopy mud ? ..... Yes mud is fun, but come here and you'll find mud on a whole new level, and then its no longer fun !

Went to look at the place with idea of buying a car to use there.Staff very helpful and welcoming and the public using the site were also friendly.Will visit again
