Its a car park. Not very cheap, but I suppose thats because its next to the SS Great Britain.

You need coins, the machine isn't set up for bills or credit cards. Or you need the RinGo app. But you need a UK cell number to register, which is an issue if you have a European number. Too much of a headache.

Good public car park, right next to the SS Great Britain museum, and 10 mins from the cargo shops and restaurants down the docks. If you have a ticket to the museum then it's advisable to just pay for 5 hours and get 4.50 refund meaning you only pay 3 pounds for 5 hours. If you use Ringo then be careful as I couldn't extend my initial booking, also they charge lots of extras for sms reminders so remember to turn those off.

Car park is right outside the entrance, on the SS GB website, it states you can claim half of the parking charge back. There are plenty of spaces, and room for coaches too. I have added x3 pictures to help others who may be put off by the parking fee.

Very convenient for parking to visit the museum. However, expect to pay about £10 for four hours

The prices were £7.50 for 3 hours and the machine didn't take cash. So i downloaded Ringgo app and it charges £8.10 . These places know what they're doing and could ask for the skin off your back last minute and you'll have to pay it or drive half way around town and 20 minute walk on top for a fairer price (Cabot Circus).

The most inhospitable car park I have experienced. They only take coins, and the nearby cafe only accepts card so you can't get change from a note. The online ticketing won't answer mobile phone numbers and the app won't send a verification code. Basically you need £12.50 in exact change to be able to use this car park.
