Yoga Insurance

Failed for over four weeks to get my car registered on the insurance data base, so my car appears as uninsured to the police. Stopped twice for apparently not having insurance. Inconvenient and stressful to say the least! Can only speak to yoga over chat, no phone lines for queries! Every time I contacted them over this issue I was told they would sort it and I would have to wait at least 72 hours before the data base was updated. Having been told this three times I had had enough. Cancelled the policy, within two days new company had my car on the data base. Decide for yourself, but I would steer clear of Yoga. If they can’t do the basics, what are they going to be like with a claim??

Once I got through to the agent on Live Chat she was super helpful and managed to reduce my renewal down by £60 for the year. Very patient with the changes I needed to make too. Would definitely recommend.

I had insurance auto renew which i did not want,unable to call to speak to someone so had to use automated system,1st contact was not very helpful,2 nd contact was and told me i would get a full refund including cancellation charge which would of helped att this time if year and not at work at present due to having a heart attack recently.The found out i was refunded for less that i was quoted originally by more than the refund charge.so more stress and miss promises,not happy and not much help from them on something i did not want or use very poor........

The site in general was difficult to use. Eventually I managed to get through to an assistant and once there the procedure was a delight and completed without any real hassle. It would however have been much easier from the outset if I had ben able to speak to someone.

The worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. Bad communication, no updates, when you get in contact with them (not by phone only by live chat) no one seems to know the same information. I made a claim 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting for any updates. No one has reached out to contact me or give me any updates with regards to my claim. I’ve been left with a car I cannot drive, no courtesy car and no control over the process whatsoever. Very disappointed, already cancelled my renewal with this company. Once I made a claim, Yoga Insurance then avail themselves of any responsibility and pass me on to OneCall Insurance who actually deal with the claim. Not sure why! Do not insure yourself with these companies. Waste of time and money. Stuck in limbo and with no one who can give me any information or talk to other than to get the response “I’m sorry.” Awful service.

Abbie on live chat was great! The only reason for four stars is because I'd prefer an in person approach. Otherwise Abbie would have a five star review as she was helpful, clear in her replies ( and gave me an answer I wanted to hear!)

EDIT- After contacting them again, they have agreed to pay the £180 release fee. Still doesn’t change my opinion. Below for context.Please for the sake of paying a bit more with another insurer…do not use Yoga Insurance. Speaking strictly on car insurance policy. They’re the middle, middle man. Everything is managed by One Call Claims who are absolutely appalling from the first moment I was contacted by them to now. First it was a ‘mistake’ with booking us a courtesy car and picking up of our car, promised 3 times it’s booked but nothing ever arrives and when I get our car into a garage of their choosing…which is 3 hours from our house….that garage provides a suspiciously high repair estimate and One Call Claims writes off the car immediately and hands it off to an auctioneer…apparently I need a new turbo when the damage is towards the middle of the car and the car is drivable and no engine management lights…I am told I can have an alternative garage give a second opinion and repairs would be covered if the repair is below a certain value BUT I have to paid £180 for that pleasure because they have already sold my car to the auctioneer. By the way, all this information exchange is done on via an online chat box, there are no phone numbers apparently, I have lost count of how many times I have had to use this live chat and to top it all off, even with me, in my opinion, remained calm in my correspondence, I got the equivalent of being hung up on in the last ‘chat’. I’d understand if I was swearing or being rude but I wasn’t. Genuinely, pay a little bit more, times are tough I know but your mental health is more important.

I wouldn't even give these 1 star if didn't have to leave one. Absolutely diabolical company I wouldn't ever use again. As another post says the just write your car off have no interest in helping their customer at all. My car was in a non fault accident so when I cancelled my policy they sent me a bill for it. Trying to speak to someone is a joke!I hope this helps someone out, I wish I knew this before I insured stick with companies that have a contact number for general enquiries.
