10/12/2023 Update:Well it's been a week since I left this review, and 18 days since I sent an email to Jon Mancin @ Lookers explaining the issue.I've not received a phone call, email or anything, so I guess that is all anyone needs to know about the service at Lookers.Took my 12 month old company car in for its first yearly service. I was told there was a headlight recall and this would be put right during the service.I also explained the map updates and software updates will not work, and asked if they could have a look at them.On collecting the car, I was told there isn't much they can do to check the software and map updates. Personally, I would've thought the Vauxhall main dealer was exactly the right place to look into this issue, but it appears I was mistaken.After collecting the car I had some headlight issues and reduced functionality. They turned off randomly when driving later the next evening and the 'stay on for 30 seconds' feature when turning off the engine stopped working. I replied to an email Jon had sent me earlier in the day of a video of my car (more about the the video to follow), to explain this issue. He replied saying the car would need to come back. I replied asking how long it would take and if I could wait or if I would need to arrange another courtesy car. Well that was 5 days ago and I never heard back since. Considering most journeys this time of year require working, reliable headlights, I find 5 days a bit long to wait.During the service, I was sent a video of a mechanic doing little more than spinning all 4 of my wheels for about a minute and a half. Apparently this was to show me my vehicle had undergone all the checks. Well that was a complete waste of time, as all four wheels turned ok when I took the car in for service.I was also pleasantly surprised to read in the online report that my spare wheel/tyre is in good shape, mainly because my car doesn't have a spare wheel.The courtesy car was a newish, white Corsa, which sounded like it needed the 'spinning wheel test' more than my car did. Seriously, service or repair that Corsa, it's not good.I was told when dropping off the car I could collect it 4:30pm. They sent me a link to track the the progress and it 4:20pm I called them as the link said it was still waiting for a technician. They told me on the phone to make it 5pm, which I did, so more gimmicky progress updates that are just a waste of time.They were even to lazy to stamp and complete the service book, telling me in my 'progress email' that I hadn't left it. It was the only thing I had left in the car, and had to go out to the car to get it and take it back into them to complete. I didn't receive any other paperwork.There are signs everywhere, almost begging customers to give them a 9 or 10 out of 10 review.So overall, the service is all quite gimmicky without any substance, along with the pointless videos, emails, online updates etc.The video they sent really does make the company look like customers have had trust issues in the past with their work.The only good thing is that it's a company car, so I didn't have to pay for this joke, my company did.I have since had the headlight fault rectified elsewhere.

Buying a car from here was an absolute pleasure, hassle free, nothing was too much trouble for shane. His professionalism was 10/10, I kept changing my mind on which car to choose and had a million questions. Shane’s patience with me was amazing. He didn’t give me the sense I was being a nuisance at all (I knew I was).. communication I couldn’t fault. Everyday Shane gave me an update on the process without me having to ask. Collection day came and unfortunately Shane was no longer available but he’d passed me onto the good hands of his colleague Josh. Josh greeted me with a welcoming smile and Was well mannered, before we got started he offered me a drink and then Paperwork was all done quickly and again nothing was too much trouble for Josh even tho he’d stayed over his working time for me, I didn’t feel rushed in any way. I’ll be recommending lookers to friends and family

Despite issues i faced, i would still recommend Phil to anyone. Throughout the entire process he was professional, polite and easy going. He had extended workload due to no fault of his own, yet he still continued to help me and be apologetic whilst doing it. Thank you very much Phil and team who picked up my issue in his absence.

I received excellent 5 star service, from the lovely gent Daniel. Daniel made sure I was comfortable with the choice I had made, after showing me a great selection of cars. After choosing the car, I was given all the details in an excellent manner whilst being reassured that my chosen car was perfect for me. Great experience buying my car and test driving it. Adrian went through everything thoroughly and answered any questions I had and no sales were forced on me. I had an issue with the car a few weeks in but the lookers service team were very helpful and sorted my a courtesy as soon as they could. It was a struggle at first but I had regular updates and both Jon and Mariam helped me as best they could. Happy to have my car back and working better than before, thank you :)

It was a pleasure to buy from this company. We were served by Josh who was extremely helpful and gave me the information I wanted without crowding me and making me feel pressured in any way. It was easy to take a test drive and repair work that was required prior to pickup was completed quickly so that we could collect the car at a time that was convenient for ourselves. They have high standards for the condition of the car's paintwork and interior at the time of selling. Even after driving away Josh and the company have answered my many (I'm sure annoying!) emails promptly and extremely politely helping me with small queries I had. Thank you for all your help!
