If you're redoing your home and need an expert's touch to design your dream space, you can do no better than KEMSI. We struggled for months to understand how to redo our entire house, from ground floor kitchen, to first floor bedrooms and even our projected loft expansion. It was a challenging process and we did not get the inspiration we were looking for until we spoke with Lisa and Carmelina. They came to our home and spent ample time getting to know us, understand how we'd like to use our space, and what we value most in our home. The result was a thoughtful and gorgeous plan well beyond our expectations. Their phased approach to design and project planning gave us the clarity and inspiration we needed to pursue our project. Most importantly, we were finally excited to approach our remodel, instead of worried and apprehensive. Working with them was a true pleasure and we recommend them without reservation!

It was a complete pleasure working with KEMSI from start to finish as they helped create my ideal interiors. No stone was left unturned as they worked tirelessly to ensure I achieved everything I wanted. Even though I had strong opinions myself, it was great to be guided by KEMSI, who are extremely talented, a pleasure to work with and most importantly a fantastic interior team.I would recommend working with KEMSI without a moment’s hesitation. My favourite stage of the project was seeing how everything came together at the end and realise all the thinking and decision making had paid off.

We recently completed the renovation of our Victorian Terraced house in East London and we worked with Kemsi on the interior design aspect of the build. They were involved from an early stage with planning how each room should look and feel. The ideas they presented were very creative and imaginative, utilising space in ways we hadn’t thought of previously, and giving each room a unique feel while carrying an overarching theme throughout the house. During the build itself they work alongside our project manager, architect and main contractor to make sure everything was done as designed and any tweaks were made on site to allow for changes and making sure we got the best out of the build. They also recommended some great third party businesses to work on specific areas of the fit out too. When it came to finishing off the renovation, the touches they presented in their styling document really added an extra dimension to a house we were already extremely happy with. We couldn’t recommend them enough and would definitely work with them again in the future.

Carmelina and Lisa took the time to get to know our house, style, lifestyle and most importantly how we wanted to feel whilst we were home. They then presented a beautifully curated collection of ideas and suggestions which we honed down over subsequent meetings to create a mood board which encapsulated everything we were hoping for. Their ideas were unique and well thought out, they challenged the brief and our own pre-concieved ideas to get to a place that exceeded all our expectations. Kemsi are truly masters at their trade and we are so grateful they were the interior decorators we selected.

KEMSI are a fantastic team to work with. They are able to take your vision, build on it and create a beautiful home. Always inspiring you to do something different, based on your initial vision, all whilst being mindful of your budget. They are a pleasure to work with and both Carmelina and Lisa go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. We hope to be able to work with them again in the future.

Carmelina held a number of consultations in my home before the renovations took place and came up with practical, affordable, imaginative and creative solutions to spaces I was considering renovating. Without her help, I would have made a number of errors and her advice was therefore invaluable .

I was so impressed at how quickly and intuitively Lisa and Carmelina understood my thoughts and ideas for my new kitchen. As a creative person who loves design I had been struggling for a while trying to decide on what would work, and I had managed to overwhelm myself with creating endless Pinterest boards which only added to the confusion. They expertly navigated my moodboard and suggested details, finishes and style ideas that I hadn’t thought of; pulling out colours and textures from images I liked and translating them into real ideas. They were also able to point out what would work long term, meaning that my kitchen will have more of a timeless feel rather than jumping onto trends, which really helped me understand why certain ideas I had wouldn’t work. These professional tips were priceless, and I wish I’d found them sooner.
