This lovely couple are most definitely the 6th Emergency Service. They saved me from a very difficult situation with a smashed ipad belonging to my son with Downs Syndrome where stress levels had soared. They were knowledgeable, professional and kind. Highly recommended

Excellent service this morning at this friendly family run business.On explaining the problem with my phone (charging port) it was quickly explained what the 2 problems could be. Thankfully it was the cheaper of the 2, & was soon sorted all for the princely sum of a fiver ! Great service with a smile, & nice to be not ripped off for a change ! I even got to give them some decorating tips (my job) whilst i was there, highly recommended !

Very professional, came here with a faulty USB C on S22+. Guys fixed it within a week. Another issue cropped up and fixed that within a week too. Had phone for 2+ weeks now and no issues at all. Very reasonable pricing as well. Would recommend over going to somewhere like EE directly.

Blown away! I literally cannot speak highly enough of Diane and Wayne. Long story short: My Motorola was not charging properly. I contacted four places in Newton Abbot: One never replied. One replied but gave me a bad vibe. One replied, very friendly, but couldn’t get the parts and so suggested going elsewhere; Motorola spares are, it would seem, as rare as four-leaf clovers. Then Diane emailed back with a long, friendly and knowledgeable response – she was unable to get the parts either, naturally, but was the only shop happy for me to order the part on eBay myself. The back-and-forth dialogue I had with Diane, and her sense of patience and experience, just gave me that positive gut feeling. So I went with Newton Phone Repairs, tucked away in the corner of Newton Abbot market like a hidden gem, and it turns out my gut was right. At first Diane suggested the port might just need cleaning – in other words, she was trying to eliminate the “cheap” options first, clearly not just trying to milk her customer base for every penny – but they discovered my phone’s electrical current was hopping up and down like a kangaroo. I bought the part myself, went there this morning, it took about an hour for Wayne to work his magic behind the scenes, and hey presto, all the stress and misery of trying to keep my phone “alive” the past three months (because, yes, sad as it is, I’m another example of how the smartphone has become an obligatory crutch of daily life) has vanished for the bargain price of £20. Phone is back to its old self. Being the cynical expect-the-worst-then-you-won’t-be-disappointed type, I was prepared to be spending ten times that amount for a new device, but what a result. Will be recommending Newton Phone Repairs to everyone I know, and going there with any issues in the future. These guys know their stuff and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg either! Really made my weekend! :)

Having had to buy a new phone 4 weeks ago, I was miffed when I dropped it two days later and chipped the screen. The place nearest to me for getting it fixed wanted to send it away and said it would take about a week.Scroll forward 2 weeks and I'm in Newton Abbot taking my mother for an airing and whilst sitting in the square around 2.30 pm having a cup of coffee and a snack and I saw the advert for this store. I phoned, they had the right screen in stock and I arrived about 15 minutes later. They said it would be ready by the time they closed, but as we had to get scooters back to shop mobility by 3.15 they said they'd get on to it and get it finished as fast as they could. As it was, it was finished about 3 minutes after we'd returned the scooters, and by then I was able to park close enough to be able to walk back to them and collect my phone.Not a cheap repair, but also exactly what was quoted an hour or so earlier and not a shoddy repair with generic parts, either. I have no quibble about the cost - getting someone to repair my last phone cheaply is what caused me to have to buy the A12 in the first place.A slight snag when I got back to mum's to find I'd got no sound at all from the phone, although I was able to make and receive calls with no trouble. A brief return the next day got the issue sorted out in a few minutes - a minor issue and we had a good laugh, so I'm not complaining.I would recommend Newton Phone Repairs to anyone who is in the area. Don't expect eBay prices, but you will get branded parts and if your phone is worth repairing, it's worth paying for the branded and authorized parts.

Excellent service on my Samsung phone. Very knowledgeable found the fault, unlike other local firms and repaired it quickly. I can recommend this company and will use no one else in the future. A great find!

Took my daughters iPhone to be inspected as we thought a problem with charging port. After an inspection, all that was needed was a clean inside the charging port costing £5! We bought a new safe charger off them as the one she was using was lethal. Cannot praise this place enough, honestly. aknowledgeable
