This is large playing fields where you can play football and other field sports. There is children playground, basketball courts, and skating fields next to the field. The playground has lots of equipment to make children relax and have fun. My kids likes the sandpit and climb. There are lots of walking paths and Gym equipment for exercise and running.Lots of people bring their dogs for walks especially in the morning and evening.I have witnessed lots of funfair activities in the field especially during the summer. It is a good place to visit.

Nice park/playing field with children's amusements, sandy play area lots of trees, several football pitchs and adult exercise machinery. My reason for regular visit is the tarmac path which runs around the outside edge of the park, it's about a mile circuit and has other old gits and dog walkers doing the same as me. Nealy forgot about the skate park if you have a skateboard.

Its okay could be better. The park needs doing up looks like there is barley anything there for the kids to go on was better back in the early 2000's when it had a big slide and that

King George V Playing Fields. Goodness me, When My sisters, friends, cousins and of cause me practically lived there during the summer months, when we were young. There were and still are large playing fields there and the park for us kids with a very large paddling pool (but since been removed many years ago.) There was a slide and swings a witches hat or round about, a sand pit. The fun we had but all those have now been replaced with a small sandpit some swings all enclosed inside a fence for children's safety. For the older kids there is the skateboard or bike park where the kids do all their favourite stunts. There are walk ways and benches where you can sit and relax in the nice weather. Not forgetting the keep fit items where you can try out to your hearts content and it's free. You can take the kids and yourselves for a picnic there, there is plenty of room. There are no toilets there the nearest is in Wednesfield centre or Bentley Bridge. King George V Playng Fields are accessible by bus as two or three buses are en route. There is no car park the nearest is Bentley Bridge. Or why not take a stroll there or pass through it on the way into Wednesfield centre or Bentley Bridge. Enjoy the peace and quiet walking with friends and family and reminiscing of days gone by.
