Hull Citadel Reconstruction
The Hull citadel is part of the 17th century Citadel which was an irregular triangular star Fort built to replace the earlier hull Castle. It was built to protect Hull from attack as the city was one of the richest in the north of England at the time. It was moved from the Khyber pass in East Park to its present location when the Victoria dock Estate was built. It is roughly in the position where it's originally stood.
