Heather's Hounds

Ollie spent an hour with Heather and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Heather's hounds was very professional and caring and you can tell their main goal is to make your pet feel at home. Highly recommend :)

Heather and her team are a bunch of enthusiastic , extremely knowledgeable and competent dog experts. Walks with Heather's Hounds are the highlight of Loki's week and with their support he has grown into a highly sociable, happy, well trained (still crazy) dog and we now have to use codenames for all of them to avoid Loki crying and 'waiting' at the window. Heather's team are also on hand to help with any training questions or queries regarding food, grooming, dog psychology. Excellent all round service looking after our four legged baby ☺️

Absolutely wonderful my Nico loves going to Heather’s Hounds!! He knows exactly when it’s his day and is knackered from the walks and running around he’s had with Heather, her team and the other dogs!!! Nico was sad he was unable to go last week due to being unwell :(. Heather and the Crew are amazing dog lovers, feel satisfied that Nico is in safe hands

Heather and her team have been looking after our dog for a few years now and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gets. She has regular walks and boarding when we go on holiday and she is always so well looked after. She has a very sensitive tummy and the team is really careful to make sure she doesn’t eat things she can’t have. We get lots of updates and photos of what she’s getting up to, which really puts your mind at rest when you’re away. Heather always responds promptly to any questions and is super helpful when we need to change her normal walks around or book / cancel extra care. Highly recommend!

Heather and her team are the friendliest people and were excellent for the time that my Cavapoo was with them. They always showed up promptly with a smile on their face and my puppy couldn't wait to spend the day with them and her friends. I would highly recommend this very professional and personal service. The dogs even got to go on a trip to the beach!

My Dog Rex has been with Heather’s Hounds since January 23. It was a big decision to have Rex walked by people he didn’t know. Our pooches are precious and so I was slightly anxious. From the point of initial contact, communication was excellent. Rex had a trial walk on a long line to see if he fitted in with the other doggies and that he was good for the handler who was Kaye initially. The admin forms were detailed as expected ensuring that good care will be taken. Rex immediately settled in and absolutely loves going on his walks. All the handlers are amazing and caring. I also receive videos and photos of Rex whilst he is out on his walk to reassure me. I love it that there are no more than 6 dogs with each handler. I would thoroughly recommend Heather’s Hounds to anyone. Here are a few pics of Rex out with his friends. He patiently waits to be collected on his walking days.

Heather and her team started walking my mum’s dog for her when my mum was diagnosed with cancer and became too ill to walk him. It was a difficult decision to entrust mum’s most precious and loyal companion to others but I quickly knew that he was in the safest of hands. Mum very sadly passed away a few months later and her dog came into our care. We continued with the services of Heather’s Hounds as we both work full time. He knows all of the team very well and will often climb on to the walker when they arrive at the door with a look of love in his eyes. Heather and her team are so friendly and extremely flexible. We often have to leave doggy with family for the day at short notice and Heather will always accommodate last minute requests for him to be collected from a different address. Heather and the team always go the extra mile for the dogs including hot water bottles in the vans in the winter, treats on the walks and an abundance of cuddles! We are very grateful to have such a caring, friendly team to help out with he who has now become so precious to us.

Couldn't recommend Heather and her team more for the multitude of services they provide as well as the constant support. When we got our first dog Archie, we struggled as a family to upkeep walks as well training and Heather's team not only provided weekly walks but also solutions for us to try at home. They are so accommodating with timings and always put Archie's needs first. They look after him dearly and go above and beyond to inform us of any behavioural changes that they witness on walks. Archie eagerly waits by the door for Heather to pick him up in the mornings and has so much fun on the walks (Heather sends us pictures and videos). Couldn't thank her team for being more friendly and passionate.

I can’t recommend Heather’s Hounds enough. They’ve been incredibly patient and supportive of my nervous dog, who now sits by the door excitedly waiting for them! They have been helpful with advice on behaviour and training. Always prompt and friendly, and accommodating when I have to change timings. My dog happily goes off for a walk, or for the day. I love the beautiful photos and updates when she’s been out for the day showing she’s exercised, played with other pooches and rested. I trust Heathers Hounds with my dog who is always eager to leave and returns from walks happy and tired!

We’ve been part of the Heather’s Hounds family for more than two years now and can’t recommend them enough to anyone who either needs help and support looking after their four-legged friends. They are not only hugely professional, but also everyone in the team is so supportive and friendly with advice and also looking after your dog as if they were their own.When we got out fur daughter, Heather and the team were on hand to support with expert and tailored 1-2-1 training sessions to meet our needs and follow this up with training plans…and just being there to listen and discuss the challenges of training a puppy. We followed up the training with puppy socialisation group walks and even though she’s now older, the weekly walks with her four-legged friends are one of the highlights of the week and we love the way Heather and the team send us regular photos and videos from walks. And when we’ve gone away on holiday, the care the team have given our doggie is second to none – so much so that we think we can see the disappointment on her face when it’s time to come home!We cannot fault the professional service that Heather’s Hounds offers us…and they deliver it with kindness, care and compassion.
