I'm delighted with the tattoo Derrick gave me today. He and Morag made me feel at ease about the whole experience. The new premises looks fantastic and is bright, clean and inviting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hammer God Tattoos to anyone. I'm looking forward to coming back soon :-)

Derrick is very very attentive at what he does, you can tell he is a true artist. He makes you feel at ease, and more importantly explains every detail to what's going on I can only describe his work as 100% sastifactory.His wife is also great at explaining the aftercare information and is a extremely plesent person they both look after you....VERY impressive set-up...flawless.

Derrick Young has an amazing shop and does brilliant work. I recently had the chance to visit Scotland and I immediately set up an appointment with Morag, the studio manager, who was so wonderful!!!! Derrick had done some pieces for me over 20 years ago and I was very excited to have him work with me again! My request was simple, a snake on my left lower leg. When you work with a talented artist such as Derrick, you have to trust the artist. Forget what you think you want, give him an idea and allow him to be the expert that he is. This is what I did and the outcome was more than I could have ever wanted!!! The entire process was by far the best tattoo experience that I've ever had. The tattoo was great, the healing was great, and Derrick and Morag are amazing and talented humans.

Writing this for a friend who wants to leave feedback but doesn’t have a computer.I had a tattoo done by Derek in his shop in Melville street Perth. I had a thistle done with Scotland underneath it. I just want to let everyone know how good Derek was. He s a great friendly guy, and I love the thistle. Everything is perfect. If you want a tattoo please go see Derek first, honestly, he’s an amazing guy, great tattoos and best prices in Perth. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEREK to everyone.W. McKiddie.

I love everything about Hammer Gods.Morag and Derrick and so lovely and welcoming whenever you go in to the studio.You give your idea to Derrick and he doesn't just give you a tattoo, he gives you an absolutely beautiful work of art.I have returned to Hammer Gods time and time again [and to be honest, there is nowhere else I would go] the studio is spotlessly clean but there is also a homely feel to it too which helps with comfort when you're having to sit still for hours.I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for amazing ink done.

Great experience! Morag took a lot of time (and emails) to go through my idea with me and perfect it, even though it was pretty simple. Derrick is a great tattoo artist, explains everything he does, is very gentle and also a great conversationalist! Would be absolutely perfect for someone who's a bit nervous about getting inked, as you can tell he has a lot of experience. The third guy who worked there was really helpful as well, I can deifinitely recommend this studio!

First tattoo. Derrick is brilliant. Explains as he works. Easy to talk to. Great artist. Great result. Lovely clean studio. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Even got to watch a classic zombie movie as Derrick worked on me. Cannot recommend enough!

Got my 1st tattoo here and it was a great experience, being very nervous for it I was made to feel welcome instantly and answered all of my questions/worries with ease, ensured a clean environment, and new/sterile needles etc., Derrick was very chatty which takes the mind of the fact he's doing the tattoo and was quite enjoyable having friendly debates about everything and anything. Price was good, you pay for a great quality, lasting piece of art rather than a cheap piece that will fade quicker. Aftercare has been easy and the instructions given have been very easy to stick to. Overall, highly recommend Hammer God, although it might seem somewhat pricey, you pay for quality work, clean environment, and an artist with great experience that actually cares about his work. Will definitely go back!

Morag was so lovely and helpful with our nose piercings. The most accommodating and genuinely enjoyable experience ever... we will definitely be back!
