I disagree with comments about greedy owner. Check the facts. Owners don't make much per litre. When I drove past the other day diesel was £1.95.9. That's four pence cheaper than Morrisons in Liskeard. I'm just a local customer who has noticed that the prices at East Taphouse have been lower than Morrisons, and I would like to thank the owner for that. The staff in the shop are always friendly. I don't buy much else, so can't comment on the shop prices. Shame the post office has gone. Chris, Lanteglos Highway

My daughter has just gone to this garage,only to be met with outrageous rudeness.Not only are they priced out of existence,but we live in the village.My daughter forgot her face mask,and the 3 people already in the garage (without face masks ) including the sales assistant! Refused to sell her milk,but continued to serve the other 3 people in the garage with no face masks.So what gives ?? I will never ever use that garage again.In fact since moving here 10 months ago we have been met with nothing but abuse and rudeness in this village.

Staff are lovely, very friendly, can't fault them. But today hubby went in for 2 litres milk and paid £2.40!! When questioned the price, was told that was the right price. Yes, I understand we pay extra for local, but £1.30 extra!! How do they justify it. Won't be using them again, sorry. Local spar doesn't charge anything like that.

Usually avoid due to price but used this morning after usual places shut. Rudely made to move (with no respect of social distancing) for parking with the fuel cap on wrong side as it makes the pump leak.. Maybe fix the pump? Never been an issue in any other garage across the country in 16 years of driving. Would rather run out of fuel than use again.

Valley view diesel is 1p cheaper than Morrisons but more than a penny because using supermarket diesel leads to my fuel filter clogged up a filter is about £60 a time and the staff and the owner are friendly people so it’s cost effective to buy superior diesel and that’s my view for what it’s worth

ANGRY PROPRIETOR!Popped in for fuel 29/09/21; as there was a queue for pumps with driver's side fuel filler caps near the shop, I pulled up on the other side. Having carefully extracted the fuel hose and put the nozzle in my filler, holding the pipe away from my rear windscreen, the owner came out and decided to give me both barrels !He said in an accusing manner:How would you like me to come to your garage and break your fuel pump?""How would you like me to come to your garage and damage your fuel hose with grit from the windscreen""You'll rip the stop off the end of the pipe by yanking it""I don't let people leave here without paying for damages in full" .When I said that I wasn't aware that you shouldn't fill from the far side and that I had pulled the hose out gently his parting shot as he walked off was "WELL THAT'S VERY LUCKY FOR YOUR SAKE" !!In 38 years of driving I've never heard that you shouldn't attempt to fill on the other side of your vehicle and if that is the case why do pump manufacturer's provide about ten feet of hose before the stop?Even Green Flag advise you not to wait to fill up from the fuel filler side.All he needed to courteously say was " Excuse me Sir

Just want to say a big thank you to Chris! I literally got ripped off and left in the lurch by another company when I needed my car for an airport run. Chris replaced my tyre, out of hours late at night and they are well priced...Professional company & excellent customer service..Highly reccomend to all....I have already reccomended to our car club...Great company
