I got this hardcover edition of the boy, the mole, the fox and the horse. and it was the only store that had it available for immediate delivery. excellent service by a very friendly and smiling lady.

Great bookshop if you are not disabled and a wheelchair user as upstairs is totally inaccessible. I know it’s 2023 but this store has no elevator to access the upstairs part of the store which unfortunately holds my favourite genres. Therefore I can’t really use this store which is a shame but tbh this isn’t the first Waterstones store I have had trouble accessing.

This Waterstones is so lovely, different floors for different genres of books. The staff are so friendly and helpful and make this such a pleasant shop to visit.

They don't have any student cards to issue- so they can't honor a student discount. There should be a way around this is you can prove you're a student. The people on the checkout literally looked at each other and shrugged. Didn't seem to bother either of them that people were paying full price when they were entitled to a discount in that case.

Poor service from the younger member of staff today. I asked to be directed to the 'Wreck It' journals and she showed me the children's section and said IF they have it, it would be there - even though I told her it wasn't a child's book, she just walked off. Very unhelpful. Another customer overheard and brought the book over to me from a different section, but I decided I'd rather spend my cash in WHSmith round the corner, where the customer service was kinder!
