Would give Zero stars if possible. Absolutely shocking criteria for a simple remortgage. All going through nicely. Then we had a valuer sent out from Accord. They wont lend because we are to near a pub ( 50 plus meters away in a desirable area in Cornwall ) bearing in mind what we were borrowing was only 1/4 of what the property is worth. ( 3x valuations carried out by local estate agents in July 2022 ) Utter nonsense. Me & mortgage advisor did have a good laugh about this one. Do not use. Waste of our time.

Inadequate service! Unable to provide an accurate redemption statement for my remortgage. Advisor from the redemptions team ‘Haider’ didn’t want to pronounce his name calmly enough so I knew who I was talking to at the outset. I explained my remortgage will be processed 1st of September and they advised that I would need to chase an accurate redemption statement on the 28th of August. This contradicts their direct communications via post which confirmed the figure I am looking for albeit it’s presented as product transfer and therefore nothing I can use for remortgage requirements. Happy for me to be out to pocket and chase them at a later date. Wouldn’t recommend Accord Mortgages / Yorkshire Building Society moving forward!

PLEASE AVOID AVOID AVOIDI usually don't write negative reviews but honestly I have to do it to warn others . This company has been dragging me for 3 months since the day we applied for a mortgage and still no replay . We have send every document they have asked , ridiculous documents you cant possible imagine . We have been sending all the documents 4 times in a row , they keep asking for the same document many times .To not mention that If you want to know the process of your application is a nightmare process , they never asnwer the phone , you cant talk with the person who has your case . Even my morgic advicer cant reach them within days . They promise to call back and they never call . .I wish i checked those review before my application , Unfortunately now is too late , Lost my dream house and they have not aswered yet . Total nonesense .

I’ve been with Accord for about 3 years. Remortgaged with them and now moving house so transferring my mortgage over. Always had a great experience with them so far and no problems ever. I had issues with my address on my credit report when I bought my first place and they were one of the best providers to actually help with that and get us over the hurdle.

STAY CLEAR.If I could 0 stars I would. Horrid company.We got accepted for a mortgage from them and on the day they were meant to survey they cancelled. We asked why and they said my partner had a payment bounce. We provided the statement to prove this was not correct and they didn't overturn their decision.Absolute scumb4gs.

Don't understand the negative feedback if I'm honest, we have had nothing but positive responses and extremely helpful staff, only had to wait 10mins to get through to Lynne and she was very pleasant and helpful, top rated staff etc.

I've been with Accord Mortgages for 9 years, never had any problems, always had a quick response from my queries. Bit surprised by the low rating

awful, long waiting time to get hold of anyone, then it takes a hour + to get anything done, do not have a dedicated department to deal with on-line password resets and the mortgage account has very little information. I have never had a mortgage provider this bad. There is a lot of room for improvement!!

If I was able to give a below 1 star review rating, I would. Do not go with this company, unless you want to wait a decade for a mortgage offer and have to provide information to them from blood type to shoe size that is.Their SLAs have little meaning and their requirements for lending is beyond attainable.

Awful, just awful customer service.I've wasted hours on calls to staff who are too junior to provide anything but misinformation, and so I had to raise complaints (twice) in an attempt to get the correct info.The first complaint handler was very professional, admitted fault and offered compensation, which was unexpected and appreciated; but the second complaint is delayed - apparently another 35 days even though it's only relating to how a monthly payment is calculated from an offset.I'd avoid going with Accord in the future.
