Such a wonderful shop to look around.Not many ironmongers left like this up and down Scotland.Such an asset to Dingwall. Staff very friendly especially lady on till at door.

Everything you need to fix something

This shop has being a life line for my pet Guinea pig and hamsters during lockdown, straw, hay and sawdust cheapest also bags of food is better quality than other shops. A big thank you to macdonalds hardware staff.

They only allow returns for refund if the item is faulted. I didn't open the item I bought but they refused to give me a cash refund. I received a credit note. Their communication was poor. When deducting how much I had spent on one visit a member of staff miscalculated the balance and gave me an extra 50p, when I drew this to her attention she got out a calculator to check and said I was right but offered no thanks, as I left she did not even acknowledge I was leaving. The staff here are rude and unprofessional. The items are overpriced. Not somewhere I would recommend. I understand they have competition with the Internet so you would think they would try a little harder by developing their customer service skills.

A truly EXEPTIONAL service! Helpful, knowledgeable and understandable, without any trace of condescension that one so often gets. A real pleasure to deal with! Sets one up for a good day. Many thanks. James H-H

I've been using this shop since it opened and have always found it well-stocked and prepared to obtain anything not in stock. I have always found the staff helpful and polite. It is a great asset to Dingwall.

Brilliant stuff open all day Saturday. Sell everything from nails to kitchen equipment. Cheaper can be had elsewhere if you want to waste petrol its up to you.
