The teaching by Dave has been amazing, he took me step by step through basics and really explained practically and usefully how to correct little mistakes I was making. He was patient, kind and good humoured throughout and really boosted my confidence with his positive feedback at every point. These guys have been amazing supportive, fair and flexible in their support through my test bookings. They are reasonably priced and much more flexible in their approach than other schools. What an amazing experience, from ease of booking, to completing the CBT! Steve was exceptional - extremely informative and knowledgeable, setting you up so you knew what to expect from the start, building your confidence throughout the day. These guys have perfected how to teach people to ride motorcycles.Stan in the office is extremely helpful when booking the course and if you need to rearrange test dates etc.Steve inspires confidence when doing CBT, everything is thorough and clear. You don’t feel rushed, and for me it was a great base to move onto the bigger bike.Mod 1 and 2 with Dave is a blast. Plenty of time spent at low speed on the training area gets you more than ready for Mod 1. Out on the roads with Dave is great, the training is very friendly and fun but also safe.I passed my Mod 2 a fortnight after doing my CBT. The whole experience was very enjoyable and you should stop reading these reviews and get yourself booked in! Thanks guys for a great time!

Only 1 word can be used to describe the training at Riding in Action, AMAZING! The training was on point, was adaptive, consistent, progressive on our own terms and down right great. Having not ridden for 11 years they were good at getting me back on the bike and riding again. Will 100% recommend them to anyone and will be back to do my Big bike test training.

Did the first part of my CBT today, Steve you were an absolute gem. Look forward to seeing you again, and you were an excellent instructor. I highly recommend these people, very comforting and patient instructors. Spent half a day with them and they won me over in a heart beat.

I chose this place because of the Google reviews - but I did wonder how can somewhere have so many 5 star ratings ?Well having experienced it now I know - the instruction, organisation and day is simply first class .Had Steve as instructor - made his job hard as we were two students both called James and with different riding stories - but he did a superb job !A thoroughly enjoyable day and learned loads - loved it and will be back for more .

Brilliant riding school. Both Dave and Steve are brilliant teachers, patient, very re-assuring and obviously drawing from a lot of experience. I completed the full DAS license and passed both tests first time thanks to them. The practice just before the test was invaluable for me. The location is spot on with plenty of space within and quiet roads outside of the school for practice. The bikes were really nice and well maintained. Dave and Steve put me at ease and I genuinely had a really good time during the training, thanks guys!

100% recommend these guys! I’ve done my CBT twice before with another company and the experience with Riding in Action is on the next level. It’s been a couple of years being back on two wheels, so it was quite daunting. However, these guys were so relaxed, funny and encouraging so I felt at ease very quickly!I will definitely be booking my full test with them!!!
