Movewise

I used Movewise for the first time this year to sell two HMO properties. Their service was professional, proactive, efficient and knowledgeable from the outset. They kept on top of all aspects of the sales process from finding prospective buyers to concluding the sale and kept me fully informed throughout. I was genuinely impressed by their high levels of service, which is a rare commodity these days.

I’m torn on this review because the initial movers were great - friendly, professional and very kind. However I feel like they do not vet their drivers very well at all because the delivery driver was awful. He called to tell me he would be a day late, yelled at me, and was unnecessarily rude. I actually called the company in a panic worried that they would do something irresponsible and she reassured me that I should have no worries and could call her immediately should I have a problem. The driver arrived, immediately told me that he didn’t do stairs and dumped everything in the living room regardless of where I wanted things to go. His helper was wonderful but unfortunately unable to do much. The initial crew disassembled a few things and this new driver was unable to reassemble because he literally brought a single screwdriver and a single Allen wrench. The driver told me he had three hours and he would leave after that time so he literally threw my boxes towards the end of the truck often enough that I yelled at him. I’ve found shoe prints on my boxes. While his helper (as he called him) Marcus was trying to help me he was drinking a white claw in the driveway. I tried to call the customer service number but he had arrived so late they were already closed. I called the next day and they said they would try to help and would call me back - they did not. So I was left with disassembled furniture, everything on the first floor, and so many broken items I’ve lost count. I mean how do you dent a crockpot? I’ve literally never cried so very much, nor been so disappointed. Worst decision I’ve made!

The Liverpool Movewise office were totally efficient, helpful and pro-active in selling a large property for me. They responded immediately to emails and gave good advice throughout the process. I would strongly recommend them.

Movewise, and Maryjane in particular, were absolutely brilliant in ensuring that my very difficult HMO sale eventually completed. At no time did Maryjane stop chasing the secondary agents and solicitors for progress. The sale would definitely have failed if it had not been for Movewise. Thanks guys. you were brilliant!
