Delamere forest is beautiful BUT the parking to visit it is extortionate. £10 for 3+ hours. Such a shame because more people would visit and stay for longer if the prices weren’t so ridiculous. I’m assuming they use the money towards the carpark upkeep and the cafe, outdoor seating etc, but with hundreds of visitors a day, even in the winter months £10 for more than 3 hours is ridiculous.

Car park is fine, there are toilets at the cafe etc, but the price is just extortionate. Now it's gone up AGAIN to £9 for 3 hours or £10 all day it just seems like they're taking the mick.

Lovely walk with dog,Needs more signs due to alot of trails being blocked off easy to get lost and pay machines dont work properly and when call for help takes ages to answer and dont give you chance to tell them the problem before they cut off the intercom.£9 for parking for 3 hours

Good car park, great facilities with cafe and toilets, though the toilets could do with cleaning checks a bit more regularly. You can hire bikes and the walking trails are good, currently with a 'Superworm' themed children's trail. The Christmas lights here are great if you can get a ticket! The main issue is the high price of the parking £3 for up to 1hr, £5 up to 2hrs but £8 for anything over 2hrs is a bit steep.

Seriously??? £3.50 an hour parking to see what are essentially some overgrown weeds! Get a grip, no wonder local roads are full of visitors parking for free.

We went with our 3 grandchildren for a chance to walk the gruffalo trail but it was closed, unfortunately. We decided to walk around the lake and asked a member of staff if it was suitable for a young child and were reassured it was but they didn't tell us of the two pathways that were closed and turned an hours walk into a three hour marathon. The poor kids were asleep on their feet by the time we got back to the car.We were impressed by the visitors centre and found the bathrooms to be clean, they even have multiple family bathrooms which made it easier for us to get the kids into their pjays before heading home.We found the parking to be expensive with charges for blue badge parking, I think it was £12 for 5 hours. We had an enjoyable experience apart from the lack of information about the trails.

Amazing place, loads of parking, toilet facilities, cafe, bike hire. Different walks to go on and routes. If you go, don't be the idiot who drops litter and/or throws your dog poo bags in to tree branches! Parking is £8 for the day, cafe food was really nice but quite expensive.
