Nuns Close Car Park

Always parked here when visiting Richmond. However today Friday 13th January, discovered you could only pay for parking via an app. no facility to pay by coins. As I don't have the app. we had to leave the carpark, we also just left Richmond. We will find somewhere else to visit next time. Does the council not realise that not everyone has a smart phone, therefore they have a duty to make it possible for those people to pay by other means.

This is a big car park with plenty of spaces for cars and buses if needed. There are also 4 22kw EV Charging ports on site at 0.40p per KWH.

Decent sized car park not too far from the town centre with toilet facilities. Long stay with cash only machines, but you can also pay through the RingGo app on your phone. Spaces are a reasonable size. Nothing more I can say about a car park!

Good location and cheap car parking, ideal for shopping locally our dining near by.

A car park offering weekly as well as hourly/daily tickets. However, amazingly, the machine does not take card payments! You can download an app to make card payments but you cannot buy a weekly ticket with the app for reasons only Richmond council can explain. Apparently, but not confirmed, you can get a weekly ticket at the machine if you have 15 pounds in coins! Other than that you need to pay for an hours parking while you walk to the council offices in Mercury house (not the town hall) where you can buy your ticket. However, despite the hassle, 15 quid for a weeks parking is a bargain and the council staff are superbly friendly and helpful.

Beautiful day at Lucie and Tom's wedding. Once again - can only pay by coins and Ringo app inoperative . It seems that the council are incapable of understanding that in these modern times a machine accepting card payments is a must . Get with it Richmond . Lovely town but parking appealing

Inexpensive parking close to public toilets. Only a short walk to the town square and castle.

Glad to find 4 charging points for EVs! But the actual ticket machines are sadly outdated and take only cash. You need 20p for the loo too! Otherwise found this car park to be conveniently situated, about a 5 mins level walk from the town centre.

This car park was perfectly located for our recent stay in a lovely Airbnb in Richmond. We felt that the car was safe and the charge of £15 for week's parking was worth every penny. We did make sure we had fifteen one pound coins ready to feed the parking meter. We were very happy with the convenience of this car park.
