Charged for time in addition to their quoted fee but could not find a leak. A plumber subsequently found leaks on two radiators and repaired them all within two hours at considerably less cost. I cannot recommend them. Martyn D

How refreshing to come across a company which answers the phone, rings you back when promised and replies to your emails! My husband had no sooner left for New Zealand than a leak appeared. I contacted plumbers and other leak detection companies to no avail but the minute I contacted the Leak Detection Company Ltd things started to move. Claire was really helpful and went out of her way to fit me in as soon as possible and within two days Jonathan was round, sourcing and repairing my leak. He was friendly and polite and did not stop working from the minute he came into my house until the minute he left! Yes it is expensive but they use very specialised equipment to help pinpoint the source of the leak, which accelerates the whole process and prevents the whole of your concrete floor from being dug up! The whole operation was seamless from start to finish and they were lovely people to deal with. My only regret is not contacting them earlier but next time I’ll know where to go! Highly recommended….this is a company that deserves to do well.

We had a suspected leak on the incoming water service pipe between the water meter and the house. No water was visible, however noise and a spinning meter indicated a problem. The Leak Detection Company provided an engineer within 24 hours. He used a range of technology to identify the likely location of the leak - to a remarkable degree of accuracy. Unfortunately the location of said leak was directly under a tree so an immediate repair was not possible.I highly recommend this company - the Engineer was extremely efficient and hard working, the site was left clean and tidy and a full report with photographs was provided for evidence to provide to Thames Water. Excellent Excellent service.

I cant praise this company enough! We’ve been back and forth now for 5/6 months, noticing brown marks on our walls (mainly above skirting boards), without knowing the exact cause of the problem to our new build flat. We finally reached out to The Leak Detection Company, who were fantastic from start to finish.Jonathon showed up and after quickly identifying the root of the problem, which was an escape of water from one of our pipes that was leaking, managed to effectively get this repaired for us.He was extremely professional, friendly and his work was to a very high standard. He made sure to communicate throughout, to keep us in the know of exactly what was the problem and how this was causing the damage and made sure to fix the problem with minimum mess/damage caused to our flat. He also made sure to check his work once he was done and did a pressure test, to ensure the works he had carried out had fixed the problem - which it had. Extremely thorough!I cant recommend Jonathon and this company enough and I will be forever grateful. Top quality service!

Dealing with THE LEAK DETECTION COMPANY LTD was totally hassle-free, especially in the middle of a water leak crisis damaging our home. One is left with the impression of a very well run family business, with a slick business process supported by an efficient admin back office team (shout out to Claire and Samantha).The three staff members I had dealings with (Claire, Sam & Jamie) left a very positive impression and represented the company really well. Once I’d agreed to engage their services, they emailed the scope of the work and a clear breakdown of costs. There was no pressure selling and didn’t even have to make a pre-payment.On appointment day, their engineer Jamie was waiting outside my door first thing in the morning. Using specialist equipment, Jamie worked meticulously to locate and repair the leak, doing his very best to not do too much damage. He was simply brilliant, friendly and courteous, yet extremely competent. Big shout out to Jamie K (top bloke). By the end of that working day, I’d been emailed an invoice, payment receipt and a detailed professional report for insurance claim purposes.While they aren’t cheap (that field of work isn’t), they are excellent value for money, espcially in the middle of a crisis and will provide a super professional report for insurance claim purposes. I will not hesistate to use this company again if (heaven forbid) I ever suffer the misfortune of another water leak. I recommend this company wholeheartedly and with no reservations at all.

Great service. The engineer (Sunny) was thoroughly professional, polite and courteous, and he eventually found the source of my persistent, and intermittent leak. The service is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the level of service, and for the resulting peace of mind!

Fantastic service from their engineer Simon. Arrived early, and found the source of the problem really quickly and non-destructively. The leak was sealed off and secured, and although it wasn't possible to do a full repair on-site due to parts being needed, I was provided with all the information (including model numbers of parts) to get the job done. For peace of mind the service was second to none - security with minimum damage. Thank you!

With water damaging our house and the threat of it continuing, this company was able to visit very quickly. Brendan arrived right on time and very clearly laid out his plan of attack for three separate areas of concern. His professionalism was a great assurance to us. He scanned the walls for hidden leaks, did pressure tests, analysed heat images and explored with a borescope. Formerly a plumber, his expertise was invaluable for understanding the real issues behind our water damage. Highly recommended.

Excellent company cannot recomend them highly enough. Great communication throughout, very professional. Sonny attended my property and called me twice whilst there to update me on his progress and findings - such a lovely man that I cannot praise highly enough, he went above and beyong. The report of the findings was very detailed and well laid out. I could not have asked for more for the money I spent. Thanks also to Claire who took my initial call to enquire about their leak detection services. I had telephoned two other potential companies neither of which took the time to listen thoroughly to my concerns and address how they could help.
