Heard mixed reviews about this place but my girlfriend gave it a go. Really disappointed with it.Firstly they messed about with the booking, and it continued down hill from there.Staff were cold and boarded on rude. Less than average cut and they messed up the colour. They were unapologetic and we couldn’t wait to get out of there.Defo one to avoid

I’ve been going to Ego Hair Salon for years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. The atmosphere is amazing - music, delicious complimentary coffee, treats trolley and, most importantly, experienced, caring and friendly staff. I've had my hair done by almost all of the stylists and they’re all fantastic. It's very clean, trendy, and welcoming. My favourite is a shampoo and head massage which leaves you so relaxed. You’ll find they’re worth every penny you spend, and I have never left disappointed because they’re very client-centred and produce gorgeous results. If you want to go somewhere to feel better about yourself and get pampered, I’d highly recommend it!

Lovely hairdressers staff are really nice and welcoming. Offered a variety of drinks and snacks. Just went in for a wash and bouncy blow dry for an event. The girl doing it was lovely and we have a great chat but I didn’t go away feeling great. My hair can be quite soft and is fine but have had others be able to add a lot of volume to the blow dry. Did ask to add more volume to fringe which she redid which did make it better. I had paid a bit more for someone more senior to do this so was a bit disappointed. Overall lovely atmosphere and experience but wasn’t over the moon with the final look.

Loved my first visit to Ego! Caz conducted a full consultation & really educated me on my hair. She also talked through each product she was using and the end goal she wanted to achieve.The experience was relaxing yet very efficient.I’m looking forward to my next visit already.I would highly recommend ⭐️I would like to point out also to anyone reading that I’m astounded also by the negative review written below by a clearly very bitter person. Do not judge this salon by those words. Unfortunately there are people out there to ruin the reputations of brilliant independent businesses for gains known to themselves. Caz and her team were all fantastic.

I got my hair done my Holly and it’s amazing, love the colour and then got the curls by kelsie I think and it looks great! I will have to get permanent dye next time as I’m in love with the colour! Good service too. I’ve also had my hair bleached by Sian before and she was amazing! Great staff! Thank you!:)

Absolutely stunning salon with such professional and friendly stylists who go above and beyond. Harriet is amazing and always gives the best advice about my hair. She did my cut and blow dry with such precision and is a true perfectionist. The curls lasted for days too. Won’t go anywhere else!

Date of Visit: 1st / 3rd AugHair Dresser: Grace Artistic DirectorConcern Raised to: Caz OwnerGrace did an amazing job cutting my hair, however I was really unhappy with the outdated techniques she used whilst drying my hair. Grace failed to use any hair clips to separate and section my hair and instead slammed half of my hair on the opposite side of my head and began blow drying my hair excessively - in a rough manner. There was water sliding down my neck and I appreciate I have thick hair but this was extremely uncomfortable, causing discomfort and pain during the hair drying process. At the end of my appointment I was told by Grace I could return in future for a complimentary fringe cut.3rd Aug I called the salon for a fringe trim. I was informed I could walk-in today and someone would happily assist me. I entered the salon and went straight to the unmanned reception desk. Senior Director, Louise, personally raised her voice over her client and shouted for “RECEPTION! by which two young girls "Tegan and Harriet" appeared. I informed them I was a walk-in client and that I called over lunch for a fringe cut. Tegan presented me with poor attitude and raised her voice "Ego does not do walk-in appointments
