Found the place via Google maps, what a gem .we had coffee and scones which were delicious, the coffee wasn't very hot but we shall definitely come again.

A great little Cafe, lovely staff telling you the best specials. The prices are very realistic.Very clean inside. Lots of cyclists use this cafe.If you out Ascam Richard way this is a great little café to call into.

The Grange Coffee Shop and Garden Centre
An impromptu visit to the coffee shop today! We were looking for a local cafe to meet up and found this hidden gem! It was very busy but we managed to get a table. The food from the neighbouring tables looked good! We ordered a meal deal consisting of a sandwich (comes with salad/crisps), cake and hot drink.A waitress came to take our order. We couldn’t believe how popular it was and how reasonable the prices were.When the food came, the portions were generous!! The food was fresh and tasty. We couldn’t eat the cake and asked for a box to take home.The staff were friendly and we will definitely return again.They had seating outside and also dog friendly! We will peruse the garden centre too as ran out of time today!!

Great cafe. Excellent service from staff. Very wide range of food at good prices. Bike parking etc UPDATE May 2023 - still a popular stop for cyclists. Plenty of cake - very good value sandwiches. No hot food now but the cakes and sandwiches are certainly worth a look. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Updated November 2023 - still going well, plenty of cake, huge slices! Popular stop for cyclists. Pleasant staff. Definitely a good destination.

I went to the cafe on a recce a week before I wanted to have a family brunch there. I booked a table for the following Sunday. There was no problem, I was told, and booked for 6 at midday. We all went to the cemetery on Mother’s Day the next week, and then arrived, only to be told, in a packed cafe that the boss had cancelled our table but did not let us know. Apparently we could have a free drink as a compensation. We were furious. It took us a great deal of time and effort to find another venue that could take us on this special day.I will never recommend them, nor will I ever go back.Thank you for your reply.I was not to know the member of staff was new. As you could not contact me, perhaps that was the time to honour the commitment. Those other people who tried to book were given the correct information and so had time to make other arrangements.

A great little find! We love popping in for a bit of lunch before heading just down the road to feed the ducks! Really good value for money (sandwich, drink and cake for £6 is a total bargain!) Dog and child friendly too. Staff always friendly
