We chose Stoake to install a wood burning stove after reading reviews of their previous work. We initially looked at Which Trusted Traders as have had good experience with other companies recommended on their website. We visited the shop in Willesden and met Nye. He showed us stoves they had and explained how they work and the new regulations that came into effect in January. He gave us some brochures to take home. We made an appointment for a site survey and Nye came to our house to assess which stoves would be suitable and any building work we would need. We selected the Charnwood C five blu as it fitted our fireplace and has high efficiency rating and complies with Defra regulations. We received a comprehensive and detailed quote which we accepted and paid a deposit. We were offered dates for installation and a couple of weeks later Pawel arrived to remove our old wooden mantel and enlarged and rendered our fireplace. A week later Andreas and his team arrived to firstly sweep our chimney followed by installing a new hearth and granite slips. The chimney flue was installed from the roof and lowered down to our new stove. A chimney cowl was fitted and the other unused pots were capped. We were given a starter kit of kiln dried logs, kindling and flamers and shown how to use our new stove. Stoake arrange registration with HETAS and Building Control. We should receive our certificate and warranty shortly.A few days later Pawel returned to fit our new stone mantel . Everyone we encountered were very professional and very hard working. We are very pleased with the quality of workmanship. They left our house clean and tidy and arranged for rubbish to be collected from the building work later that afternoon. It was only when I came to clean the stove I realised the removable ash pan hadn't been fitted. I contacted the office and they arranged for someone to return and fit and gave us further valuable advice on how best to keep the glass clean and we realised we weren't giving enough time for the stove to heat up before reducing air flow, you need half an hour. It was quite expensive but well worth it as we have a lovely warm cosy living room and as we keep the door open the heat reaches the hallway and upstairs too. Mind you haven't had any bitterly cold days yet!Definitely recommend Stoake if you want a good quality installation by people you can trust.

Stoake installed a Heta stove having already completed building work to prepare the fireplace. A fantastic experience from start to finish- the building work was completed efficiently and the stove went in smoothly. We are delighted with the stove and all work completed by the Stoake team and would recommend them very highly. We can’t wait to use it this winter.

First class service received from beginning to end from Stoake. We had our Charnwood C4 stove installed in late January, so at the time of writing this, it's had a good few months' service.Initially we had a consultation with Nye, who discussed all our options and made a recommendation based on our room size and expected output.After accepting the quotation, we had some suggested dates put forth.The installation is handled in two stages. First, there is an initial building works visit. In our case, it was the removal of a decommissioned electric fire, installation of granite slips and rendering the inside of the fireplace.The second visit is the actual stove installation and commissioning. Installation was quick and completed to an amazing standard.We were shown how to operate the stove and all questions we had were answered. We were left with a decent amount of kiln dried wood to get us going and the site was left clean and tidy.Stoake take care of any registration and warranty for the stove on your behalf.Having a functioning fireplace was key for our property, Stoake provided a hassle free, professional service. All employees are knowledgeable, polite and courteous, the installers have a great work ethic and take great pride in their work.If you're in the market for a wood burning stove, this company really are great at what they do.

The whole Stoake team were wonderful throughout the process of installing a woodburner in our new home. Great advice, responsive in all communication, really nice and considerate to our needs and thinking, and then just fantastic in person installation staff who visited to plan and then install the final product. We are delighted with our new fire and highly recommend Stoake to anyone considering it!!

After having a recommendation for Stoake from a friend and getting a quote and guidance with what was best for us we proceeded to have a log burner installed. First was the prep which was quick and then a month later the log burner installation happened. The fitters were friendly, helpful and insightful. We discussed the safety issues with the carbon monoxide monitor and the ways to keep the burner working in optimum condition. I couldn't recommend Stoake enough, very professional with a friendly manner. The log burner looks fantastic too- no mess was left and a promise of help in the future was offered. Excellent

Stoake have done a brilliant job for us, advising at a site visit and then completing the job. Everything was accurately itemised on the quote and prices kept to. The result is a fantastic success and we are very pleased. The guys who did the work couldn’t have been nicer to deal with and all the furniture and bookcases in the room were covered properly. We would highly recommend Stoake Ltd if you want a wood-burner installed.

I can't praise Stoake enough. From the initial site visit and assistance finding the perfect oak beam to compliment the room and chosen stove, to the skilled construction work and following clean up and finally the smooth installation, the Stoake team were brilliant. They are communicative, friendly and very professional. I can't recommend them enough.

We had a log burner installed yesterday by the team at Stoake, every stage of the process has been super slick as they carried out the building work and installation themselves as well as helping us sort scaffolding for our very steep roof.Vanessa and Nye have both been quick to respond to emails, all staff that visited our home have been absolutely lovely, worked really hard and left the house tidy.We've had all our questions listened to and answered with patience and I feel confident that should there be any problems in the future, the team would help us. It has not been cheap but definitely great value, would 100% recommend.

Highly recommend the team at Stoake.I've been looking to get a multi-fuel stove for a couple of years now and did a lot of my own research. I should have really gone straight to them from the beginning. Excellent knowledge, really friendly and fairly priced.In summary do not go anywhere else. A big thank you to everyone at Stoake.
