Beyond Adventure

We had an incredible SUP experience on the River Tay at the end of July 2023. There was 11 of us with mixed abilities (and ages) as part of an hen do and everyone loved it! Will and Kiran were brilliant fun and gave clear and precise instructions and guidance. Even some history and fun facts about the area. They were super supportive and considerate of everyone and made the experience for us! Couldn’t recommend more - I know for sure we will be back!

Sam was an amazing guide. We were beginners and she helped make the day fantastic. Everything was seemless, Sam was there for all technical and local background questions we had and the views were amazing in this beautiful part of the Highlands. Also, thanks for the lunch suggestion! :)

Wonderful beaver canoe experience. We felt very safe with the guides and even though we hadn't canoed before everything was explained to the level required. We saw many beavers and the habitat was all discussed as well as the longer term plans for beavers in Scotland. Thoroughly recommend this really good wildlife experience.

We had a fab time on our River Spey trip in September 2022. Being able to pack your barrel and jump straight back into the canoes to get going in the morning definitely outweighs any discomfort of camping with no facilities!Mark, our guide, made amazing food and is clearly a seasoned pro in the great outdoors. The lunches are like a ‘Mary Poppins’ bag of all things yummy!There were a number of issues with river levels and wind conditions which meant changes to the planned route but at the end of the trip we had paddled every day, mostly on the river but with an unexpected day on a loch high up in the Cairngorms.Having not done a multi day paddling trip before, we have nothing to compare it to, but we had a great time.

Wow! What a day! From the beginning, our instructor Dave was fantastic - we felt super confident getting into our kayaks and were taken on a stunning tour of the Tay. We had a brilliant morning, and couldn’t recommend Beyond Adventure more highly as your go-to stop for kayaking.

Over the years done a number of water sports in and around Pitlochry and this place has set the bar. Very organised, good communication, and great kit.We did paddle boarding and the instructor was fantastic and helped us a lot (was a beginner session). We are due back in the area next year and will be looking at other activities and will look to book with these guys.

Brilliant friendly and knowledgeable team, we hired 4 bikes for a half day (2 adults and 2 children) They provided us with everything we needed, and gave us options of good cycle routes to take. On our return they also provided us with a map and information on how to spot the beavers on the river. Our kids are keen to go back and do some river adventures in the spring.

As a wildlife educator in Connecticut, who gives around 100 talks a year on a variety of wildlife species, including the North American Beaver, I was particularly interested in Beyond Adventures Beaver Safari" but

We had a wonderful time on our canoe tour to see the beavers.Only issue was that accessibility info was lacking and I doubt anyone with even slight hearing loss would have been able to hear the instructions from guides while in the canoes. I would also have appreciated safety instructions sent in advance, as processing all the info we were given on the spot can be a challenge for many people (myself included). It may be wise to add an accessibility/support needs questions to the signup form.
