The car park is not to big it would have been better if it was tarmaced when they did all the other work. But saying that it is adequate. If it's full just down the road is the station car park it will cost £2.40 all day.

Can imagine it gets busy but there was enough space when we visited, plenty of bins. Removed a star as it's not signposted - we drove past it and had to turn around.

Very tranquil place, great for walking dog or just watching all the birds on the lake. Swans, ducks, heron, canada geese, all sorts of water birds stop here! Path now all way round with loose chip dressing, so wheelchair friendly and seats all the way round to sit and take a peaceful rest. Uploaded pic from bench so you can see type of gravel path to make sure know what to expect if a carer pushing wheelchair.

Lovely place to walk round the lake feed the Swans and Ducks etc. Much improved car park area new path.gives access to everybody, flat and wide plenty of benches to sit and take a breather or take in the view.

Regular visitors here.Absolutely perfect place for a short walk.Wheelchair friendly path that circumvents the lake, also a safe observation/ feeding area.
