Went in as I was after some paints for some models I was recently gifted. Went in with a good idea of what I wanted to do and wasn’t met with a friendly atmosphere. Felt like I was being spoken down to and made to feel stupid for my ideas instead of being given helpful guidance on options and paints. Definitely won’t be going back after that as I didn’t feel welcome in the store at all.

I love this place....the staff are fantastic...friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Both my sons play and I dabble...lol...and being a woman in a male dominated hobby I find that I am welcomed as one of the lads....I have happily spent many an hour just sitting and painting while chatting. I go back time and time again....have made lots of new friends....and I always recommend to anyone who is even mildly interested to go along and chat with the guys....they will get you enthusiastically hooked on a life long hobby....thanks guys!!!

Great store with friendly staff. As a female player, I have always experienced a warm and welcoming atmosphere in this store. The manager and other members of staff are exceptionally knowledgable about the hobby and are always willing to help. I’d definitely recommend popping in.

Took my son to play his first intermediate level game with a few more models and rules in place after playing through the first strike box set. The guy who taught there was a perfect mix of understanding the different behaviours of a nine year old boy and firm when he was being a bit daft, couldn't fault his instruction one bit. I've always loved coming here since I was a boy so it's great to see that very little has changed in twenty odd years.

Friendly staff that are happy to give advice and expertise. Whilst I was in the store they were teaching children how to play while also providing service.Descent sized store with a good range in each army, if what you are looking for isn't available they are happy to assist and order where possible.

Fantastic place, great selection of Games Workshop goodies. Percy is an absolute legend and what he doesn't know about what he sells isn't worth knowing. Great hobby and a great shop.

First time in the shop and was made to feel really welcome. Guys obviously know there stuff and were happy to answer what were probably very basic questions.

I wasn't a fan, the restaurant itself is nice, bright and spacious but the meat served with the roast Sunday carvery was dry. Vegetable & Yorkshire pudding very nice just a shame the star of the show doesn't come up to the name of the restaurant.
