I couldn’t recommend highly enough. The perfect family table and bench to complete our kitchen. Great advice given on colour staining to create the finish we were wanting. Amazing quality, made with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism.

I purchased a dining set last year and had so much difficulty finding a table that I liked and wasn't referred to as 'wood effect' and also wasn't grey like everything these days! I also didn't want the industrial look of the black legs which was also hard to find. In the end I decided to get a table made and went to Hayes Wood after a few recommendations. As soon as I arrived I knew it was the right call. Lawrence was so enthusiastic and shared my love of wood. He gave me sound advice but allowed me to make my own choices. He sent me updates from just receiving the wood through to stain and waxing. When I finally saw the finished table earlier this week I was completely thrilled. The grain is just stunning. Its looks perfect and the colour of the legs is exactly what I was trying to achieve. I am already planning a console table to match and some shelves. Thank you Lawrence for creating such a beautiful piece of furniture. I cannot recommend Hayes Wood highly enough, if you want something that's unique don't look elsewhere just go there.

Simply excellent work! Haynes Wood made a custom oak mantelpiece and 6 alcove shelves to measure. Communication was perfect, consultation I felt really well informed and able to make the right choices, turnaround time was very very quick!The fitting systems were easy and worked perfectly and the finish looks stunning. It’s really made a big difference and a real feature wall in our living room. A gentleman to deal with!Highly recommended and would suggest to anyone to have a chat with him if your unsure or on the fence.

Lawrence has been absolutely amazing in creating something so bespoke for our son. Wooden toy boulders created with such passion and energy. The customer service was phenomenal and I would recommend Hayes Wood to anyone looking for bespoke services! Thanks so much once again!

From initial expression of interest to order and delivery Lawrence was amazing. Offer lots of choices, lots of pictures and videos to help us get the right product. I loved receiving pictures and videos as he crafted the product. The end result of the floating mantle blew us away. We absolutely love it, you can tell Lawrence loves what he does through the beautiful end product.

If you want an amazing piece of wooden furniture, you REALLY need to go to Hayes Wood. The first piece I wanted doing was my Jet Blade Coffee Table" and I was really concerned that even floating the idea would raise eyebrows. My wife definitely raised her eyebrows
