Jasmin Inn

Jasmine Inn is my favourite Chinese since moving close by. Good for price and delicious. I typically order to collect and it’s always ready for me arriving.Staff are so friendly too!They give you the price on the phone so you know exactly how much to expect.Salt and chilli munchie box is our favourite as a starter, it’s the perfect size and comes with a sauce.When ordering Chinese I don’t doubt I will get it from here.

I have been very ill and had to sleep all day. So I hadn't eaten since lunch time. I'm diabetic and realised that my blood sugar was pretty low and I thought I would order a takeaway because I was dizzy with blurred vision and a bit muddled. It was already about 10:30pm! I noticed the jasmine Inn was still open and the reviews seemed pretty good, so I decided to give it a go. I had so little money, the cheapest thing I could think of and a good portion would be a portion of chips and a portion of curry sauce separate. Because if you buy the two in the one tub you get a tiny amount of food. I was ravenous and experiencing worrying signs of hypo. The food arrived very quickly, however when I opened the bag I was really upset to see a tiny little bag of chips and a very small tub of curry sauce!!! I was thinking how on earth will this fill me???? I hadn't eaten all day. I know that I was getting mixed up trying to order my food. The lady was nice enough. I explained that I am diabetic. I'm also permanently in a powered wheelchair. I'm still really upset, and the chips were burnt and the curry sauce was more like gravy. It did not taste like a normal Chinese curry sauce. It was awful! I feel bad complaining. I don't usually complain. Now I am still hungry. At least I have eaten but I feel ripped off by them. I had initially apologised to the lady on the phone about such a small order, and explained that I don't have much money, I'm struggling a bit. Just really upset and hungry still. A total rip off and waste of money I really couldn't afford to spend. I had even tried to phone back but there was no reply! Gutted!!!

I ordered from this Chinese in september month and the chicken in the chicken curry was raw, I phoned them to complain they sent a delivery driver to refund me fair enough, I phoned again tonight didn’t actually realise it was the same Chinese or I wouldn’t have tried to order again the lady answered the phone took my order then said sorry we don’t want to deliver to you because you complained out chicken was raw last time! The chicken was raw! But how cheeky if I had of known it was the same Chinese I would never had tried to order from them again!!! It’s not letting me add the photo for proof

My food was delicious! We always half a main dish and get a long tray of rice. The pictures are of my half of the food. I haven't rated the atmosphere. It's a take away. I phoned ahead and was in and out in no time at all.

Ordered from here for the first time after reading the reviews I was really looking forward to a delicious curry. Didn't hit my taste buds curry sauce is bland. Chicken balls are nice and not caked in batter like some other places.

Amazing food! Salt and pepper munchie box and currys sauce are very tasty. Quick delivery. Highly recommended!

Best chinese in ek by a long shot always fast too

Sorry to say this was very very disappointing. I have had a good meal from them in the past. Tonight was just awful. The beef and green pepper and black bean sauce - no green pepper no black bean sauce. It was meat in a weak beef gravy( possibly bisto). The chicken shezwan - sauce was very bland indeed. The pancake roll was also very poor as it was only filled with bland noodles. The spare ribs were actually ok but when you ask for salt and pepper spare ribs you don’t expect them to come covered in veg and gravy.Pity - most of it went in the bin!

I just had the most amazing meal iv had in any Chinese ,second weekend in a row we have ordered and everyone loved
