Quick Fix

Was sold a spare wheel a couple of months ago, to keep in my boot. I had a blowout and had to use it. Unfortunately, whilst driving home, this split and burst on me. I didn’t even make it safely home. RAC said I should never have been sold it, as it was dangerous and unroadworthy . Had to be towed to a garage. Thankfully, I am there and not in hospital .I also had my MOT done there in April. The previous owner had an advisory on corroded rear coil springs. It’s my first car as a new driver, and as Quick Fix is close, I put it in there. I was surprised when he said I had fully passed it. I mentioned that I was surprised, because of the advisory . And expected that I’d have to have them replaced. I was met with a blank stare. He didn’t know what I was talking about. I mentioned the advisory. He said that there was nothing wrong with my coil springs, and that it was probably the previous garage trying to make a fly buck. Me being a brand new naive driver, just accepted his excuse . And guess what? A few weeks later, whilst driving, my rear coil spring snapped . Thankfully I wasn’t flying down the motorway. So I returned to Quick Fix, where I had 2 new coil springs fitted. I mentioned the mot again, and was palmed off with an excuse of, well the snapped coil spring is just something that can happen . So that’s twice now, in the space of 7 months, that I have been put in a dangerous situation, because of Quick Fix’s incompetences, and sale of an unroadworthy wheel . These failures could have cost me my life. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. I certainly won’t be using them again

Smashing bloke have dealt with him and his spouse on several occasions faultless service and good comms Service is so good i felt i had to smash a headlamp just so i could go back If any reviews for quick fix are less than five stars its because the reviewee is a chancer and didnot get the something for nothing people expect these days pathetic organdonors in waiting

My experience of using this business has always been excellent and at reasonable cost.Have no problem in recommending them.

Im a newish Local to the Village and ex mot inspector in a previous life , So as you can imagine my cars dont fail mot tests unless there's something afoot ! So took the wifes Car in here for an mot , its like 2 mins away frommy house , told the missus to work the lights before we left and all was well , Took it in for its test and he failed it on rear brake light bulbs and number plate bulb and i guess he had some exhaust rubbers and a fuel cap lying around as he failed it on them too, even though i know it didnt need them , Guess he dont want my cars and van mot's each year :-(

Duncan is very experienced and knowledgeable. It's a busy place so try to book well in advance. They don't overcharge for the work and keep you updated so you know exactly what's going on. Definitely recommend Quick Fix. Based on the fact it's 30 years old says it all really.

Been using the garage for over 5 years now, always had excellent service.

Always used this garage since moving to Law several years ago, work always done quckly and well. I've never had a problem/repair fixed that meant I had to go back again. I tend to buy old bangers and they help me keep them running till I change. Reasonable, helpful, upfront and honest.

Excellent service, so glad I found this garage. I've now been using this garage for years and wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Duncan is totally professional, trustworthy and great at his job, he and his staff are courteous, friendly and helpful, I know my car is well looked after and is in safe hands, couldn't ask for more.
