This is a nice big clean beachYou can often see kite surfersIt's pretty quiet unless it's just after the kids have graduated schoolOn warm days it can get busy, but there is plenty of parking and even if it's busy there's enough room to spread out especially if the tide is outAlso there's a fantastic chip shop across road, it's called the Barassie chippy, well worth trying then go and sit on or near the beach and eat

Barassie Beach
Great gently shelving beach, with a fair bit of rise and fall in the tide, great for walking / paddling / dog walking... On windy days its a kite and wind-surfers paradise, so can get busier, but this just adds to the enjoyment as you get to see the kite surfers antics and getting some air up and down the beach. Loads of space to park and it's free. There are some public toilets on the beach though I think you have to pay for these.. At the end of your walk there are some great places to eat / have coffee in Troon... Its worth a visit and a a good day out. Recommended!

Barassie Beach
Very wide and long beach with plenty of areas for dog walkers. There is also a decent promenade with grass areas if you want to avoid sandLong shallow shore. Dogs will love it!

Barassie Beach
Barassie Beach is a true hidden gem nestled along the stunning Ayrshire coastline, with its stunning views of Isle of Arran is the distance. The first thing that struck me was the pristine condition of the beach. The golden sand stretched out for miles, inviting visitors to take a leisurely stroll or take part in some of the activities it offers. Whether it's building sandcastles with the family, enjoying a picnic on the grassy dunes, or trying your hand at water sports such as windsurfing or kayaking, there is something for everyone. Plenty of parking makes it easy to access by car. This video was made in November and as u can see its still enjoyable in the autumn.

I am a sunset seeker and last night i reckon i found the optimum spot for sunset viewing on Scotland's ayrshire coast.Barrassie is a small enclave next to larger town Troon. Its westerly situation is perfect for viewing sunsets.Last night's was exceptional.
