As part of the NHS workforce these guys are amazing and cannot do enough for the patients they support. Yes the waiting times are long at times but be patient and they will get to you. But on the whole they provide a good decent service and effective care for their patients.

i had occasion to accompany an elderly client in a wheelchair . The unit was fairly busy, with lots of comings and goings . I feared a long wait as I was concerned for the client .However, The wait was made bearable by the superb staff . in particular Amy, who went out of her way to make sure the client (and myself) were comfortable . Even moved us to quieter part of the building to await the arrival of the specialist . Returning periodically to check we were ok .Amy and the staff on shift made a possible unpleasant experience much more bearable . Thank you .

This place is incredible. Both times I’ve been, the staff have been incredibly efficient and kind. I was in and out in about half an hour with prescriptions. It’s a shame that GPs round here are so shocking as it means the staff at the walk in centre are always inundated with patients but they deal with it amazingly.

Went in with my toddler on Thursday night who had conjunctivitis that was rapidly getting worse and we couldn’t get a GP appointment or drops over the counter at the pharmacy. Toddler was quite distressed by the busy nature of the department etc. but they saw us within 10 minutes and we were on our way with eye drops 5 minutes later. So impressed, thank you so much for seeing us so quickly!

NHS staff are the best in the world, but have to much to do. You will have a long weight but it's free and you get to see someone that WILL help.

My father fell over just past midnight and had a large wound on his head. We arrived at Walk In Centre and a nurse called Helen was outstanding start to finish. We were lucky it was not busy just on New Years Day. The advice, care, and treatment was simply amazing by Helen and the NHS system and we were back home within 40 mins of arriving and father all treated. Thank you so much for being so caring and efficient. Best wishes

Couldn't find it, told it is now next to A and E but this is the Urgent Care Centre which was very fast and efficient - but they said it was a quiet day!! So does the Walk in Centre still exist?
