Lovely little shop. Few tables inside but nice sitting outside in the summer. Great range of breakfast, cakes and pastry goods at moderate prices. My favourite is doorstep bacon sandwich on granary... Great value for money and so tasty. Their granary loaf is delicious so obviously rarely any loavesleft when I go in on the afternoon! Lovely service. Just about manage to squeeze in with my pushchair and it's worth it.

Went in late today (Saturday) and was warmly greeted by both members of staff - Very polite and friendly, ended up leaving with more than I planned on, great quality and value. Will definitely be back again.

I go often for the meal deal but the customer service is awful I've noticed getting worse and worse last time I was ignored when I went in as they were chatting payed by card as tapped it and they just walked off to start chatting again I said have a good day then and just nothing just a stare I couldnt believe it! I work in the high street and I'm not the only one who thinks the customer service is awful and have stopped going. Proberly wont be going back shame as love the food.

Food might be OK just a shame about the grumpy staff. Its about time they started to think about the customers and start to offer a better service. After months of regular visits on a Saturday morning I have finally had enough and WILL NOT be going in again.

I like Parsons bakery in general, good food not overly priced and some good deals. I have only one issue and that's their steak pasties rather than being made with chunky pieces of steak/beef, they use fine mince beef which maybe steak mince but it's not the same as real steak pasty!

Bakes its bread on the premises and very nice it is too. I seem to find that at any given time it either doesn't produce or has sold out of the loaf I want but I do go there quite often so I seem to be managing! Warning to slimmers: the bacon butties, hot pasties and cakes take some resisting!

Although it didn't seem like it at first, there's a reasonable vegetarian selection. I ate the most delicious vegetarian sausage roll, actually the most delicious sausage roll (it just happened to be vegetarian) I have ever tasted! I will be back for more even though it's a 20 mile round trip!

Poor customer service. Food ok when they manage to have enough in. Walked some distance to get a sandwich to be told they'd had a large telephone order and there won't be enough left for visiting customers. Not great.2023 UPDATE: Went in for a bacon sandwich. They'd run out and because it was only half an hour until they stop serving them they hadn't put any more on. At lunchtime. Still poor.
