This lot diagnosed my 335d had 2 possibly 3 diesel injectors failed, then quoted me a price that doubled when i tried to arrange a booking?! After seeking a 2nd opinion the injectors were fine, it was the twin turbo`s that were on the brink of total collapse! Catastrophic engine failure narrowly avoided. Absolute rubbish! Avoid!!

I have had my X5 serviced and various repairs carried out by Carl & Mark at Hemingstone BMW and I can honestly say I would recommend them, they are always spot on when diagnosing faults, they are competitively priced and always take the extra time to talk me through any repairs in detail covering all my options so that I understand before going ahead with the work. BMW's can be complicated machines because of all the on-board technology and it’s great to know that there is a BMW specialist with the level of expertise Hemingstone have local to be. Big thumbs up from me.

Wife’s car was showing a brake pad warning even though pads and discs were fine. The wonders of an F10/F11 meant that it was not easy to reset the warning. With an MoT due and a failure on the cards, rang Hemingstone, they slotted the car in for a quick check later in the day. They reset the warning and we could easily have gone on our way without charge but made a decent contribution in beer tokens. Have earned my future custom in one small thing!

Cooper BMW diagnosed that my hard drive needed replacing at a cost of 1,300. They suggested this could be repaired but would not undertake the work.I phoned Mark at Hemingstone BMW who was very helpful and happy to undertake the repair of the hard drive as they have all the latest software from BMW.I booked the car in and waited in their customer lounge while Carl removed the drive which would be sent to a specialist they use for this type of repair. This was returned after one week. Everyone went the extra mile as we were off to see family at Xmas leaving on Friday. Mark arranged special next day delivery from the electronic's company in Bradford to arrive by 1pm on the Friday. I was home by 1,30pm and on my way to Eastbourne with navigation and all functions working. Hemingstone were excellent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, completing the work at a fraction of the cost quoted by Coopers. They will will be looking after my X5 for all future servicing.
