Dowd's Farm Park
Easy and free to park, nicely landscaped and with a lovely little pond to sit and watch the ducks.Good place to walk the dogs and enough bins for the poo bags.No local loos or facilities but still an excellent park to visit.You can also cross the road from the carpark and there are many hidden tracks to walk along through the trees if it's a bit too hot to walk the dogs in the open. Very nice.

Great family park, lots of equipment for children of all ages.August 2020 - zipwire closed due to COVID-19, rest of the park is open.

Great park, Needs something for the younger children. It's mainly for ages between 6 and 10 years plus. It's only got 1 closed in swing for the young ones and all the other things you would have to watch them on as it's not closed on and they could easily fall off it. Also the spinning thing is good to climb up but won't spin round fast anymore so needs fixing.

What a great play area, a large area with equipment for all age groups.A place I can take all 4 kids and they are all happyA nice (smooth) path around it which is ideal for hoverboards, skating and new cyclists (beware of other kids though!)

This is great any time of the day.Plus has a little pond next to it if you want to feed any birds (If there’s any, sometimes lots, sometimes none)The park has picnic benches, so obviously the time of day and weather impacts the availability.It’s all fenced in except the zip line for the bigger kids which is just outside.This is a great place for the evening, to wear the kids out before bed and have a takeaway dinner at the benches.Car park is just a short walk away. Parking closer is also a available though on the road next to the park.{Yes, all our rubbish was put in the bin. Can’t stand people that leave rubbish behind}

We love the diversity of this park, whether you want a few hours in the play park or running in the open grass area or feeding the ducks it is all available.The only negative is that there is no barriers around the pond so taking young ones can be a challenge.Great family area, would have been lost without access to areas like this during recent times.
