My partner and I had a cream tea for two and sat outside. Presentation was poor as we were told outside seating meant the cream tea came in takeaway packaging. We were a little surprised to say the least! The quality of the scone was fairly stodgy, and didn't taste freshly baked as we expected. The cream and jam came in little packets which felt synthetic and added to the poor presentation. Overall, the experience felt cheap and not like a tearoom you'd expect. Disappointing.

We stopped for a quick visit after walking around the area. We really liked the coffee and walnut cake and biscoff brownie. Quite big slices of both. The cafe was unfortunately not very full compared to the other tea rooms in the area, but had a good variety of meals also

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced - went in and purchased food to sit outside and eat and was told to leave very rudely by the staff as we had something else on the table to eat. Was told it was for customers only even though I was a paying customer and have been there before. At which point she took my bag of food and took it inside till I left then claimed to give me a refund and never actually processed it. So I left without what id brought or the money I paid for it. Honestly would never go there again and I advise everyone else to avoid if you want good nice service.

Poor experience (seems to be common now I see other reviews). We picked the Chestnut tree as it has space inside, but found out why... Staff were young who really didn't care - our order was wrong twice (out of 4 things) but no apology given, instead we were made to feel as if it was our problem. The scone was very stale and fell apart when cream&jam was added. Felt like every thing was bought in, not freshly made. Coffee was ok but it's very expensive for what it is. I would have complained but the attitude we got when telling the serving staff that they had bought the wrong drinks and food put me off. Wouldn't recommend or use it again... there's too many other good places to use

We stopped off here whilst visiting this lovely village ( one of my favourites in the Cotswolds) we managed to get a table inside and ordered cappuccino, and cruffins ( croissant and muffins in one) we had biscoff and these were amazing, highly recommended!!!Would recommend this coffee shop, a little cramped inside but plenty of outdoor seating!!

A very disappointing experience. Our baguettes were so stale and dry that they were inedible (you could have forgiven that there was no butter if the bread was fresh) so we handed them back for a refund. If you are going to charge 'down from London' prices and a service charge, the food needs to be top notch, very far from the stale rubbish just dumped on a board that we had today. To give the young man who handled our refund today some credit, he was apologetic. He offered us a sweet treat which, although we declined, was a nice gesture and sensible customer service. He discretely said I'm so sorry

We were in Bourton-on-the-Water in the morning and decided to have a quick bite here. The queues weren't that bad as we are past the bank holiday weekend and we were able to get a table easily. Recommend the sausage rolls, they're huge and tastes really good. If it's a hot day, they also have a milkshake and an ice cream stand you can access through the windows.
