The Castlefield Rooms

A lovely venue right by the canal in the heart of the city.I came for an evening presentation, 'Poles Apart'. A warm welcome by friendly staff was a great start to the evening. Delicious canapes and drinks were offered in the room adjoining the presentation, allowing informal mingling and networking.

We had our wedding here 8/7/2022. Ceremony Brindley room, group photos on grass area by willow tree (with 2 surprise alpacas), post ceremony drinks balcony, reception / evening do in Merchant room (extended to 2am). We still have family and friends saying how great the venue was and how much they enjoyed the day. Hannah, Ellie & the events team were FANTASTIC. Ellie was an AMAZING coordinator in the year long lead up to our wedding and her professionalism shone through start to finish. The whole team were so accommodating, even with our quirky ideas, which added to the spirit of the day. Hannah and the events team were so HELPFUL AND SUPPORTIVE, and ensured that the day ran as smooth as possible. We can't thank the Castlefield Rooms Events Team enough, and only wish we could relive it all over again! (Photographs below by Nicola Arber)

We’ve heard endless compliments about how amazing our wedding venue was (especially the food!!) and it wouldn’t have been possibly without Zoe! Our day went better than we could have ever imagined so I can’t thank you, and all of the staff at the castlefield rooms enough!! Really, just the best experience ever, 10/10!

We had our wedding at Castlefield rooms last Friday & from start to finish it was perfect! Zoe was on hand from the moment we made the booking & nothing was too much trouble to the point she went over & above on the actual wedding day.The venue is perfect & the food was outstanding & all the guests said as much. Would highly recommend if your having a wedding in the city centre this is the perfect place.....you won't be disappointed!

We held our wedding here in early May. The experience was great from the initial consultations right through to the end. Zoe has been an absolute star in arranging everything exactly as we wanted it. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Everyone loved the food and the venue. This is just one of our favorite parts of Manchester with the beautiful old canals... Absolutely fabulous venue.Great staff, particularly Ellie White, our wedding planner who helped with everything in a calm and easy way. Food was incredible and lots of choices. All our guests commented on what an amazing wedding it was from venue to food to rooms and everything in between. Our wedding photographer said its her favourite venue by far.We cannot recommend it enough and would happily do it all again tomorrow.Thank you Ellie and all at Castlefield Rooms, we really can't thank you enough, love Ruth and Gray xx

Always a pleasure playing at The Castlefield Rooms. We provided the wedding band there on Saturday - it's a brilliant venue and the staff are really welcoming and professional. It works really well if you're wanting live music for your event, nice big room and just an all-round great atmosphere!

We got married here in July 2023 and I honestly could not fault it. We don’t live in the UK but wanted somewhere central so all our family could be with us but not somewhere that felt like you were in Manchester City centre and this just felt perfect for us. The renovation they had done just added the extra luxury feel we were really hoping for. Ellie was our coordinator and she just went above in beyond in making sure the day ran smoothly and the run up to the wedding all our questions were answered with no issues at all! It was everything we had wanted and more!

As a photographer, I can easily take so many good photos here. The lighting, decoration, and the street view are all amazing! Castlefield area is located in a city but has a nice and quiet street around it. The wedding coordinator in The Castlefield Rooms is very helpful, and supportive during the ceremony. Perfectly organised day and loved how the room looked. The team work so hard and want to give a special mention to Ellie Smith that helped me make some very last minute unexpected changes and kept her cool which helped me to. Thanks.
