I went in to buy my first ever set of miniatures this week and received the best customer service I can remember from any store. Had a great chat, with no sales talk or up-selling, even while stuck behind face masks. I really look forward to going back. Thanks again.

Take kids for war hammer bits bobs and they even stay and do model of the mth lovely staff especially Yan and his girl friend can't remeber her name always help full and chatty kids love when there in the shop. Loads to look at and some cool stuff too

Came into the store today with wife and 5yr old. The staff member was super friendly whilst teaching my son how to build and paint a mini. He then took us through a quick game of AoS.Would definitely come back again to beign my painting hobby

Amazing shop after going to the Oxford Cardiff and Bristol stores Swindon is the best super friendly.Jan and matt super knowledgeable and willing to help and its great to see the interest they pay in my view and also the interaction with my daughter and getting her interest in painting which has brought us together

Games workshop, what has happened to you? In the past I would have happily come into a store and pay over the odds (let's face it you can save a tonne of money in hobbyshops Vs gw pricing.) Today's visit really put me off. Ok so you don't have what I want in stock. It's fine, I understand it's after Xmas. Stock can be slow coming in, but absolutely no interest in suggesting I order from your store. Quite literally a shrug of the shoulders and it is what it is. I have vouchers that I wanted to spend in your store today, and probably more on top if you had just engaged with me. I went in and was greeted, great! After that I felt like you just didn't want to take my money. I'll just wait till a trip to Nottingham to use my vouchers and spend the extra at my local hobby centre. Sorry guys, this is the first time I have experienced this level of service from you before. You can do much better!

A great place full of amazing atmosphere and character. Staff are extremely helpful and kind, willing to chat with new and old players alike about ideas and giving help with the hobby.I've never had a negative experience with them and I am always pushing more friends to visit the store and get into the hobbies.

First off, I’m not a war gamer. 72 year old modeller doing 1/32 and 1/48 aircraft, 1/35 armour and 1/20 Maschinen Krieger. Used some Mithril Silver and Nuln Oil yesterday on some gun parts and was blown away by the quality. So into Swindon WarHammer today. Greeted by Jan, left to look at the extensive paint stock and asked a few questions which Jan answered without hesitation - he knows his stuff! We had a chat at the counter and I bought a bundle of colours, mainly shades. I know I’ll be back for more colours as I could see a lot that would be great for Ma.K. Great shop, great staff. Recommended? You bet!
