Helpful fellas great services been there many times over years working for others but went in opened account had full demo and instructions hire sanders had em to long booked 2 days had them 8 i think but no moaning just a call to confirm all was well would recommend to to trade but best of all they help out the smaller outfit or homeowners that need help direction information and recommends will be my go to tool suppliers

Got what I wanted, fair price, all ok. No smiles and not very welcoming or friendly. I just like a bit of banter but it's deffo not happening here, will probably look elsewhere for tool hire next time which is a shame as its nice & close......Update: when I took the tool back I had a different man who was great, really cheerful & helpful, don't want to do the place an in-service so added this as an update, will deffo go back here and fingers crossed I get the happy guy (whom for some reason I think is the owner.....) I've upped stars from 3 to 4 cos of this guy...

Great friendly staff and helpful with the tool hire information. Problem is, i was told my deposit would be returned to my account almost immediately! Very different story from the staff after i hired from them. My money will be returned within the next 2 weeks! Money that i was very much relying on.

I've hired tools from here a couple of times and it's always been a quick and smooth interaction. The prices are reasonable and I've never struggled to get my hands on what I need from them.They generally take a pre-approved £100 as a deposit for the item you're hiring and then you make payment when you return it. If it's your first time hiring from them then you'll need to take two forms of address proof with you such as your driving licence and a utility bill as they need to create you an account with them and I guess for reasurance as to where their tools are going.Most of the team in there are really friendly and willing to give you some best practice advice about the tool you'll be using, however there is one gentleman there who's very much to the point and direct which to some may come across a little rude but I don't mind it. They do also have a range of tools available to purchase and the prices again seem to be good and should I require a new ratchet set in the future or a similar hand tool I'd definitely check here first.Overall I'm pleased with the tools I've hired so far and the service I've received and I've not had any difficulty with loading although I've always collected in a car so it might be a little more tricky with a van as there yard isn't the largest plus they have a lot of tools out on display.

Having been rather remiss in not having my petrol mower serviced for several years , arranged for Ran Hire to complete the task . My mower was serviced at competitive cost ,collected & returned locally free of charge looking like new including being fuelled up & ready for action . Great service from a local business who, based on this experience & many similar customer reviews, deserve our continued support .
