I have been visiting SG hair for a few years now and I have seen a dramatic improvement with my hairs growth, strength and curls. I recently had my second texture release treatment this has allowed certain areas of my hair to achieve an overall even length and texture for when I style my hair curly. They have kindly guided and recommended hair care routines and treatments to give me the results I’ve been aiming for. Thank you for your consistent help and guidance.

I have been attending SG Hair for well over 7 years and I'm always thrilled with the service I receive. They always listen attentively to my hair concerns and aspirations, taking the time to understand my desired style. The coffee and biscuits is always a nice touch not to mention the good hair wash including the mini head massage (AMAZING!!). Samantha Golding (owner) runs a 'tight ship' and requires such standards in her team. From my observation the (Gen Z) need this type of raring as it will serve them well in later life and future employment. My daughter worked under Samantha's guidance and I am proud that she had been exposed to that level of high standards especially when it comes to customer service.They offer valuable suggestions and advice, guiding me towards a look that complements my features perfectly. The precision with which they cut and style my hair was nothing short of exceptional.Not only did the stylist work her magic, but also utilised high-quality products, which left my hair feeling healthy and nourished. Overall they take time to explain the products used and provide valuable tips for maintaining my look at home.Furthermore, the service at SG Hair has always been timely and efficient in my view. Despite the salon's popularity, I can always get an appointment via their app.The compliments I receive whenever I visit are a testament to the salon's exceptional work. This was the single best experience I’ve ever had in a salon! From start to finish - the service provided was professional reliable and reassuring. As a first time customer I’m not only hugely impressed - I booked in for my next appt on the spot. I initially booked in for a relaxer service but the owner personally called me and gave me a detailed consultation and advised me about how to achieve the style and flexibility I wanted without chemically damaging my hair. She recommended the texture release which she gave me plenty of information on - having seen a picture of my natural hair. When I got in the salon I was welcomed by a lovely hairdresser who was also knowledgeable! The salon was clean professional relaxing and more. I am so happy with the service and would recommend to anyone with natural African hair.

I had the best experience getting the silk press service done today. My hair feels and looks light and flows effortlessly. My hair is 100% natural, I’ve never used any smoothing treatments and the results I’ve received just from the silk press treatment alone is amazing would definitely recommend this service.

I visited SG Hair for a treatment called Revitalise keratin. In the past, I have had a keratin treatment however, each time I had it my grey/white hair was left very brassy, and even purple shampoos could not bring back the shine and tone of my natural hair colour.I did my research for a treatment that could combat this, and for a hairdresser that could deliver it. I had a WhatsApp consultation prior to booking the appointment, and was looking forward to what was in store.Sam did a brilliant job with the treatment, and took her time to see how my hair was responding to it, in terms of keeping my natural colour bright. She gave good advice on after-care, which will help me maintain the result. I loved the cut and finish, she cut my hair exactly how I like it to be cut. Her expertise was unquestionable, and her staff were friendly and attentive.I’m a very satisfied customer!

I booked in with Sam for a big chop and she guided me through what would work for my hair in its current condition. Sam recommended texture release, which I was a little nervous about as I thought it would straighten my hair. Instead, it enhanced my curl pattern and has allowed me to have tighter or looser curls depending on how I wash & dry it. I was really happy with every part of the service I received, Sam and her team made me feel pampered and cared for!

Highly recommend SG hair for the texture release treatment. I’ve struggled managing my hair for years and have tried a number of different hairdressers. Sam has taken the time to teach me how to look after my hair outside of my appointments and it’s the healthiest my hair has ever looked. I’ve also started to see great growth from the texture release! There is a great team that works here and the salon is lovely.
