Woden Road Surgery

Been with this doctors all my life, I’m 34 and had to change my address due to being in temporary housing. Got a letter today saying I’m out the area and need to find a new doctors. Rung them up and they say it’s due to NHS. Been In contact with NHS who told me that its the surgery’s discretion whether they keep you on being out the area so basically the surgery can let me stay but choose not too, treated me and my children very bad. Not like I can’t get there as I drive so that’s not a problem.

Changed surgery never again phoned for my daughter who was 2 weeks old at the time and the refused her because she wasn't registered disgusting behaviour of receptionists and if you have any concerns of certain things the receptionist find it funny so yeah absolutely disgraceful they need to sort the customer service side of the receptionists out and definitely need to provide right information because when a baby not registered they can be seen under moms name. I used to rate this surgery really good now I wouldn't even visit it again .

Bring back all the old receptionists especially Jackie who was one of the best all ways had time to speak to you properly over the phone nothink was to much trouble, also I understand its a practise surgery but not being able to see any of the proper doctors any of the time is a big joke.

The scummiest, and most unprofessional reception staff in Wolverhampton, told to call, and was on hold for 60 minutes, before the call auto cleared, and had to hold again, for another 60 minutes. I have also outside their office, and called their number, only to see the reception staff happily talking to one another while I'm waiting for someone to answer their phone. I then informed them that I will be contacting an ombudsman.Remember, they get paid by the NHS for doing absolutely nothing.

Shocking. Newer reception staff are better than the previous who were vile - the way you would overhear them speaking to anyone assumed remotely foreign was out of this world.I previously had important test results sit for months despite my calls chasing, all because no one seemed to notice the additional notes placed at the bottom of the screen.In the last year I moved from a depo to a coil just so I wouldn’t have to use the service every 3 months - the nurses are actually absolutely lovely by the way.However recently had staff lie about contacting me back after a promised phone call Friday … now I’m sitting in urgent care on a Monday instead of at work and it’s the last straw.Filing a complaint and changing surgery promptly

I visited the surgery this evening and the 2 receptionist that were on were very helpful and polite and couldn't do enough to help, I had a few issues that they managed to resolved immediately so thankyou. Since the pandemic I have heard people complain but I have found this surgery very helpful and efficient, especially the 2 receptionists that were in this evening they cannot do enough to help.

After waiting over a hr on hold to get through I'm fuming trying to sort a prescription that I should of received April they can never get the details right. The Dr's and nurse are brilliant and Jackie is the only decent receptionist the rest I have no faith. I am going to change if this continues as the prescription I need to use the thing daily. I'm actually writing this while on hold to the surgery 1hr 5 mins and still no answer good job I have unlimited minutes and nothing to do!!!Still on hold 1hr 40mins and counting!!! Well 2 hours of my life I won't get back and they didn't even answer!

What a joke this GP practice is.. My girlfriend was on hold for 1h 32 mins on 10/3/23 from 4PM, with a sick child, then had to use the walk in Centre!Why are the phones NEVER getting answered,Why is there never any appointments.

So here we go again! Calling the surgery and I'm number 4 in the queue..... Woopy i cry. Joy soon passes as im still number 4 in the queue 42mins later and still waiting! It is discusting the length of time it takes to answer the phone! So many people complaining about the same thing...... Time to move to a new surgery with decent reception staff.
