The Stonehenge Tour

I was really reluctant to use the bus because of all the bad reviews but it was great - I booked online which was really quick and easy, the bus was on time both ways, headphones worked on the bus, the driver was really friendly and gave all the info you could needed. Couldn’t ask for more.

Only returns 90% for refunds. The tour itself was fine and Stonehenge itself was glorious. Felt a little scammed on the refund policy so here so that’s why it gets 3 stars. (Tried to refund the cathedral as I did not have the time to get there)

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but actually found it to be a pretty hassle-free way to see the Stonehenge (cue Ylvis) - bus once an hour from a few stops in Salisbury. Really glad we got the bus & entry to Stonehenge & Old Sarum" for￡36 per person

Easy way to see Stonehenge when traveling into town by train. Bus drivers were kind and shared everything you need to know to see Stonehenge and a few other local landmarks.

We bought our tickets after the last bus left for the day and we didn’t get a refund for the tickets since we bought them late unreliable service.

The bus driver was incredible rude and racist to Asian passengers who were just trying to get a ticket.Ticket process to get people on to the bus took longer than the actual journey.It is a good service to get to and from Stonehenge but be prepared to be abused by the driver and sweaty when you arrive.

We booked the tour bus from Salisbury after a long day traveling the day before from London to Arundel and Arundel to Salisbury. So happy we did. It made the ride there relaxing and much more interesting. In addition to fun facts about Stonehenge itself, we learned about the history of buildings in and the founding of the current city of Salisbury, gruesome public executions in the now roundabouts, and about Old Sarum. Our bus driver was very nice. The only issue we ran into is that there was a lot of traffic on the return trip to Salisbury which caused us to almost miss our next train. We didn't have time to tour the cathedral or Old Sarum but if you're into history, I'd recommend making it a whole day trip rather than a half-day as we did. We took the bus plus Stonehenge, but bought the Cathedral Tower tour separately (AFAIK the optional included Cathedral ticket is only for entrance.Bus was reasonably on time (took tour in December), only a few minutes late. I thought the pricing was reasonable for a 1h bus ride with included entrance to the stones.

You do not see the stones of Stonehenge on this bus tour. The bus will take you to the English Heritage centre, where they will charge you a further £26.00 for a 3 mile coach ride to the stones.You can walk from the centre to the stones for free.

The bus driver was incredible rude. We asked for refund after he had been super rude and he denied us a refund. This has been a horrible experience and quite expensive.
