Counter service no longer available, everything you need to know about Court Apperances has to be sought via phone poor and inadequate help for first time callers, could be even intimidating for elderly or respectful people!

When you're not there for nefarious reasons and have no reason to give a negative review, this is easy to find (right next to a bus stop) and with friendly and helpful staff from the security guys on the door (doing a sterling job during Covid times) to the Court ushers, who have a thankless task anyway. Yes the building is dated but it serves it's purpose and additional Covid Cleaning measures were meticulous due to high turnover of different users.

Judges and probation officers are writing sick and twisted lies about people in reports. This means the public are at a very high risk of being targeted because of lies told about themselves. I have been targeted many times. Unprofessional to say the least.

Toilets were disgusting. Usher was extremely hostile and unapproachable. Judge started case over 2 hours before the initial time. Paint on seats peeled off, ruining my clothes. Definitely won’t be visiting Preston Magistrates to do my law assignments ever again.
