Vita Student Zed Alley - Student Accommodation Bristol

As someone who’s been living in Vita for a while, I have a lot to say about my experience here.There’s always some maintenance issues going on in my studio, for instance, my bathroom lights have been out of order for months. Among all the staff working here, Yanlin is the most responsive and responsible.There are also many events going on here, ranging from beauty to food. Yanlin always ensures I sign up for events I’m interested in and double check to make sure I won’t miss it. Her events are entertaining and well organized. She also takes good pictures for us to record our nice memories.It’s nice to have a Mandarin speaking staff here considering the majority of clients are from China. Yanlin has been very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend her if you need your problems to be solved.

I have been living here for almost one year now. The location is great, but it’s an old building by main road. Many chinese restaurants and supermarkets are just within walk distance. Mandarin speaking receptionist here is great. She is super friendly and helpful. You won’t regret going to her events.

Living here has been good so far. Free breakfast and housekeeping are plus points. Jade always cleans my room to high standards. There are free events too. I love Events Yanlin hosted the most. Yanlin also helped me a lot when I need help.

Despite many disappointing problems going on here, I still appreciate the morning staff Yanlin’s hard work here. She’s very proactive to help us and super attentive and patient. She’s the one that makes the whole place feel like a home, and the only reason I didn’t move out. I hope that the site could have more staff like her, staff that actually cares.

It's a good choice to live in VITA,we have got a lot of interesting events and friendly staffs here. And they provide nice services for residents.I’m gonna consider to rebook the room there :)

Vita is the best student accommodation in Bristol. The room is clean and nice. The house keeper will clean the room twice a month. The receptionist are very helpful. This is my first time studying in the UK.The service is beyond my imagination, especially in the epidemic. Almost all the student buildings stop the reception service. But our receptionist still work 7/24. They prepare breakfast in bags. They send boxes to room.

Vita is a liar.****Ps. Stop using automatic answers.****The real room is different compared with the pictures and videos that they showed or sent to me. They are not allowed to check the room before moving in. Additionally, they carelessly solve the problem. The one thing that everyone should know: the 1st-3rd floors cannot open the windows. These details do not show on any website. Last, they did not clean up or check the room before the new tenant. The crazy price for a room like this is so inequitable with quality.- The floor is sticky and full of dust and somebody's hair.- The fan is full of dust and hair. So, I cannot open it.- The bin trash lid cannot close.- The lighting on the top of the bed is not finished it hangs down, showing the wire.The kitchen:- The cook hood has sticky stains.- The sink was not clean, the drain was yellow and it was full of lump stains. (I don't have a picture because I already cleaned up)The bathroom:- The toilet has stains inside. It looks like it has not been cleaned, yet.- I cannot open the shower. It is very hard to open because it has rust or something inside.- The glass doors have stains everywhere.Moreover, Today, 12 Sep 2023, the housekeeper tried to clean the bathroom but it was not better than I cleaned it by myself. When the housekeeper is done, my room has a chlorine float-up in the air, in my room. I think it is not safe to snuff chlorine for a long time but the atmosphere cannot flow out because this room doesn't have any outlet.You can see the truth in these pictures

vita's location in Bristol is very good. It is very convenient to go to school or shopping malls. It is very happy to live here, not only the infrastructure, but also the friendly staff! What made me especially happy was that I met yanlin, an employee from the same country as me. She took great care of me and made me feel unprecedented warmth in a foreign country.

After a year living in this accommodation I can say that the facilities are awful as well as the communication in this company.When I checked in I didn't have hot water for two months and my window won't close because it was broken. Keep in mind that it was September in Bristol so it was very cold. They could close it on October/November but my window was not fully fixed until this September ( a year later).The amount of times that I had to send emails and calls to not only Vita Bristol but customer engagement where they would lie to me and say it would be fixed or that they would call me and everything ended in me waiting for them. They are unprofessional and because we are students feels like they do not take us seriously.- The cleaning service is questionable since they do not clean the as they should (the bathroom or the floor usually are not clean) they also do not tell you when they are going to clean, not day or the week or rage of time, they just show up knocking on your door.- The breakfast is bad quality and there are usually flies on the food. Moreover the coffee machine its often broken.- If you have an issue with your room they won't help you fix it soon.- There are water leaks in the gym and sometimes on reception. They have to put buckets on the floor.-Usually there's no people on the events because they are super basic and not as good as in other vita accommodations.- People from reception would knock on your door almost everyday to ask you if you want to join their event.- If you have a question involving an issue in your room they never have an answer and it takes weeks for them to give you a minimal solution and keep you updated about it.The only good thing is the location of the building.After living there and talking with other tenants about the experience, we all felt scammed because the services and expectations shown on the website about the accommodation were not the ones at vita Bristol.My overall feeling is that there are a huge lack of communication between different sectors in this company and they never know anything and when they do, they try to blame another sector about it.If you want to have a good experience as a student in Bristol, do not stay here.
