A proper old school hardware store, they have stock for all your common DIY needs and I got gloss paint for less than the amazon price! The shop manager is extremely helpful, just tell him what you want and he gets it!

Fabulous hardware shop - it always amazes me that whatever I'm looking for, they'll generally have the answer along with friendly advice on how to use it and no requirement to buy a multi-pack of other needless screws. Parking's not great but it's worth persevering as the store is a genuine delight. Local business, local family - strongly recommend a visit.

Excellent local shop that deserves support because they have a huge range of items from pet supplies to pots of paint, fuses to door mats, and the guys are usually able to quickly find exactly what you need. Saves hours of time searching and juggling between products on Amazon and long drives to massive diy sheds.
