Superb little Screwfix branch. Order online then collect a day or two later, never a problem. Returns happily accepted with no messing about. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait to be seen especially as only one till can deal with queries and returns but nothing excessive. Sensible COVID restrictions in place and enforced. Highly recommended.

I rolled up a with a seized tap valve in hand and very little clue about sizes, standards of compatibility of such parts.Despite this being a few minutes before closing time on one of the hottest days of the year (so far), and with everyone getting clammy behind their facemasks, the staff member who served me couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. They brought out some candidate replacements and tolerated my test-fitting of the valves with the parts I'd brought along, and checking the thread sizes with calipers, with no loss of humour or patience.Fair prices, parts in stock and great staff.Thanks again, Screwfix!

Visit the St Ives Branch to do a Click and Collect on a Saturday morning. Only one member of staff on the desk, who was dealing with a customer -her Colleagues just kept walking past looking at the waiting customers - and the queue for service was outside the doors. I waited 10 minutes to be served, and I was at the front of the the 'queue'. Very poor service - the desk team should be able to signal that they need additional staff on the desk.

Wanted to buy a grass trimmer and went to the store, where Mr Colin, a Screwfix employee (older than a dinosaur) told me that I have to place an order if I want to buy my stuff ( where I was just in front of him). Went outside, placed the order (under the scorching sun because there’s no shade there) and went back in and had to do the queue again. When I got to the till a nice employee told me that I could’ve asked for the stuff I wanted and not place the order online because I was there anyway. THANK YOU MR. COLIN FOR BEING SUCH A “nice” EMPLOYEE.

Click & collect via the app is a very straightforward experience and something I use regularly. A good selection of products at competitive prices. Never had to queue for too long, staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking, never had any issues.
