Every time I deal with Read Hyundai Derby, it's a pleasant experience. My car's recently been in for a warranty fix and as a waiting appointment, I was in and out within 40 minutes! Their customer service is top notch and it keeps me wanting to be a customer!

I booked my car in for a service and MOT. It was collected from my home - I had a telephone call the day before confirming the time, and was told who would be collecting it. The garage rang me to tell me what needed doing, and sent photos of my car. The work was done on the day, and my car was delivered back to me. Work done & nicely cleaned as well. Excellent service.

Dealt with Joel who offered us a test drive (unaccompanied) on an i20. Very professional salesman, very calm and not at all pushy. Great deal done with excellent communication throughout. Car delivered on promised date. A recommended experience and car is fantastic. 10/10

Adam was an amazingly helpful sales guy who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and help us find the car that's right for us without putting us under any pressure. As far as we could see everyone was the same. The premises were very clean and professional. Adam arranged a time for collection of my new Kona and everything went so smoothly. Would highly recommend.

Brought my car in and George was very professional and kept great communication every step of the way. I'd highly recommend getting a car from here as you'd be well looked after by the staff. Outstanding experience from start to finish, would highly recommend to anybody looking to lease/purchase a new or second hand vehicle. Read Hyundai in Derby gave my I 30 a full service and M.O.T. and altogether I was treated with respect and good humour .It was appreciated that I would have to wait for about three hours , so the reception staff did help to make the time a pleasant experience in a warm and comfortable place.The information given about the service and M.O.T. was explained very well, and it is my intention to return for some remedial work at a later date.E-mail messages were received with attachments indicating the area where attention maybe required soon.Thank you Read Hyundai Derby

Crowded car park for drop off, but I've always found a spot. Clean, professional and efficient check in by friendly personnel. Able to arrange a date for a loan car, which was relatively new. I especially appreciated the complimentary valet of my own car!

Excellent service from Read Motor Group in Derby. Communication by email, phone, face to face is extremely informative, prompt and very helpful. Dealings with staff at any level are outstanding. They are friendly, courteous, very helpful and go above and beyond to keep you well informed of all aspects of car servicing. All aspects of the service (you receive a video of your car being checked) and payment are completely transparent. And as woman I like the fact that I am never, ever patronised.

Reported an issue to read with my 2022 ioniq , took the car to them and a receptionist took pictures of the problem, my car was not inspected. They wanted photographic evidence of service history, anti perforation check and invoices. No response after a week so I called several times with no response or returned calls.Calling them again after 3 weeks they told me this was not covered by Hyundai warranty and said take it back to Motorpoint. They told me they had never seen this problem before.Took the car to another Hyundai dealership, they couldn't have been anymore helpful, they gave me a courtesy car, did a recall and replaced battery coolant, carried out a health check and sent me a video of this.They confirmed this problem with blistering above driver and passenger door window frames was definitely covered by Hyundai warranty and was a common fault with the Ioniq.They have ordered the parts and will contact me when they arrive to arrange the work.I'm getting the impression Jason Coombes of Read Hyundai is playing god regarding warranty issues, dismissing claims before the vehicle has been inspected and assessed.If your thinking of dealing with Read Hyundai in Derby bear this in mind.I would say look elsewhere.
